Most Favorable Review

Fast, reliable, and compatible

NETGEAR CM600 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. Max Download speeds of 960Mbps. Certified for XFINITY by Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Charter & More (CM600)
NETGEAR CM600 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. Max Download speeds of 960Mbps. Certified for XFINITY by Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Charter & More (CM600)

Pros: Having owned this for more than a month, I have to say I am truly impressed. The best part is that it is compatible with TWC. Simple to activate, haven't had one issue in more than 30 days. While that is expected, I had the stock rented modem from TWC for my first 3 months and it was not stable like this modem.

Cons: None I can think of.

Overall Review: If you're looking to get away from rental fees and want something you can break even on in less than a year, this is the way to go.

Most Critical Review

Excited to try it, but not what I was hoping for

NETGEAR Powerline 1200 Mbps, 1 Gigabit Port with Pass-Through, Extra Outlet (PLP1200-100PAS)
NETGEAR Powerline 1200 Mbps, 1 Gigabit Port with Pass-Through, Extra Outlet (PLP1200-100PAS)

Pros: Bringing wired ethernet to rooms that didn't have it.

Cons: The speed is so inconsistent. Connectivity issues overall.

Overall Review: The concept of this is great -- I have always wanted to try it. However, I have always had my doubts on whether or not it would actually work. After seeing an incredible sale on these, I picked up two packs (4 total), thinking that if they worked well enough, I would offer the extra pack to a friend. However, the speed has been inconsistent, and I expected that it might work even better in a newer home (my house was only 4 months old when I bought these), but that certainly was not the case. For most general internet users, the speed and connectivity may be acceptable; for me, with my 4K HD streaming and online gaming, it was completely insufficient. If you are a gamer like me, wireless is more consistent and stable than even these things. With my Netgear A6210 adapter I get way higher speeds and consistency. To be honest, with the A6210, I can honestly say for the first time that I don't feel the burning need to even have a wired connection anymore.

Exactly what I wanted

CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock
CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: This is an amazing case. Has plentiful space for my 280mm radiator with push/pull config as well as my dual video cards, 4 SATA HDD's, 2 SSD's and easy cable management. I have a Storm Trooper case as well, but I actually like this design better (subtle, but great updates). Highly recommend to anyone looking for a full tower case. You'll be amazed at the dust control and space!

Cons: The Storm Trooper version had an eSATA port on the top. The Storm Stryker case I got seems to have removed that port. Not a big deal as it was rarely used.

Overall Review: I like the sleeker feel of this over the original Storm Trooper case. In fact, I like it so much, I would like to pick up a few more of these.

Excellent wireless keyboard and mouse

Logitech MK710 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo — Includes Keyboard and Mouse, Stylish Design, Built-In LCD Status Dashboard, Long Battery Life
Logitech MK710 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo — Includes Keyboard and Mouse, Stylish Design, Built-In LCD Status Dashboard, Long Battery Life

Pros: I have two of these and can't say enough good things about them. They function as you want them to, and if you use Sanyo eneloop batteries, they last a long, long time. The mouse has a really nice feel to it, and I even like using them for gaming.

Cons: you have to remember to turn it off if you want to maximize your battery life!

Overall Review: I bought one for my dad too, and he was very wary of wireless keyboard/mice because he had a bad experience with a Microsoft set I bought him years ago. This setup has not caused him any problems for more than one year now -- now I can sigh with relief!

Best Power Supply. Period.

KINGWIN LZP-850 850 W ATX 12V v2.2 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
KINGWIN LZP-850 850 W ATX 12V v2.2 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Cable management. Modular. Single rail with lots of power. Nice, big, efficient built-in fan.

Cons: Initial cabling is a bit cumbersome and the 2 4-pin cables for the CPU are just a little too close together (although maybe a careful cutting job might separate them a little more). Included SATA power cables are a little too short to reach all my drives in the CM Storm Trooper case.

Overall Review: Love modular power supplies that actually work. I didn't need something this powerful for my current setup, but it will allow for future expansion. Highly efficient and adjustable.

Simply in love

CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock
CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Size, cable management, fan expansion, water cooling expansion, removable filters (for cleaning) and other capabilities. Built-in hard drive cages and SSD cage. Enough space for 4 optical drives or 2 drives + temp monitoring. I love the cable management for this case!

Cons: Some might say size, but it is just right for sli or crossfire + all the other goodies any good gamer SHOULD have. Pre-cabled fans, usb, etc. are not really wired as intuitively as the case was designed for. Could use some additional pointers in bundled materials for fan management, although plenty of info is available online.

Overall Review: I first had the storm scout, which was in itself a great case. I wanted something slightly bigger, but still with a carry grip, and this case fit the bill. I have loved having this case every single minute! You can adjust the fan speed and turn on/off illumination from the top. USB 3.0 + the awesome size of the side panels (cables are easy to smash and don't catch on the side!) should make this case the ONLY model for a serious mobile gamer. Why are other people not buying this and making it sell out? Warning: Do not buy if you don't want the absolute best case out there.
