won't add inches
Pros: Solid. Good wiring solutions. Bits includes stuff I've never seen despite spending 2x - 3x like a standoff adapter for the screwdriver. Lots of little baggies for individual bolts/screws. Roomy. Side and front panels are a breeze to remove and replace.
Cons: I've read that the USB connectors on the front bezel are "upside-down", but I'm not mentally impaired so I can cope with that.
Overall Review: I've seen so many "professional" reviews where they knock this case for the stupidest of reasons, presumably to make themselves sound elite. Only 1 fan? I've got fans leftover from other cases, and they're cheap to get anyway. Limited HD shelf if there's a giant VGA? I don't know about you, but I've never needed more than 2 HDs. I swear, these types of things must be the geek equivalent of rednecks with loud mufflers. The fact is, unless you're hoarding components, or routinely build $1k systems, this case is perfect.
not perfect
Pros: Almost too much room for a mATX. Good design, nothing flashy or unnecessary. The fan is so quiet I had to look to make sure it was spinning when I did a test boot.
Cons: No bay adapter for a 2.5" drive. -1 There's also no standoff mount for the bottom right corner of the mobo, and considering that's where several connectors are located, you've got to be very careful installing them. -1
Overall Review: The sides could best be described as flimsy, so keep the box it shipped in if you ever think of moving this. Cable management is all on you, but the case won't fight you, either.
perfection
Pros: Durable; all adapters included; the rubber molds for the drives are flawless; great price.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I'm turning into a Rosewill fanboy. Everything I've gotten from them has been a surreal combination of the highest quality gear at smart-shopper price points. It's to the point where any time I need an item, I check to see if they make it yet. Even some free ear buds I got are awesome. Yes, I'm gushing but it's all true, I swear :P
good but not perfect
Pros: Well made; included adapter allows for front panel or rear installation (also a con).
Cons: First, this needs to come with a 5.25" front bay adapter. Any current mobo is going to already have rear usb3 ports, so the included adapter is far less than needed. Second, with this installed in a front bay, the cable is so stiff that it cannot be cleanly maneuvered for optimal case air flow without pulling itself out of the mobo. Seriously, you could use this thing as a weed-eater cord.
Overall Review: I reserve 5 stars for products without flaws. This is a good product.
by far the best bang for buck in fans
Pros: Quiet even on full blast, solid construction, good air flow. I consider the lack of lights a plus. I also like that each fan's screws get their own baggie.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I found the key for quiet cooling is several fans at low RPM instead of one or two expensive uberfans trying to be both powerful and silent. This pack is perfect and finally uses all those fan spaces on my case.
Pros: Solid and reliable. Quiet fan. Excellent rating for the price.
Cons: Not modular but not advertised as such. Hopefully non-modular will go away even for economy class items like this.
Overall Review: Silverstone is the only manufacturer of any part of any of my rigs that I never worry about at all. I'll pay a little premium for that kind of consistency and performance.
