ASUS 15.6" TN FHD Portable USB-powered LCD Monitor 11 ms 1920 x 1080 USB MB168B+
ASUS 15.6" TN FHD Portable USB-powered LCD Monitor 11 ms 1920 x 1080 USB MB168B+

Pros: Light 1920x1080 [don't even bother with non + version in my opinion] Nice case included Works well in Win8 & Win7

Cons: Has been cheaper in the past [picked mine up for $140] Doesn't clean itself

Overall Review: A bit tired of Mac users complaining about compatibility issues with a companies that design for the PC market. It would be like me freaking out that after I bootcamped my MacBook and boot directly to windows on my Mac that I can no longer daisy-chain thunderbolt displays. Why would you expect behavior to be identical between the OS it was specifically designed for vs one that it wasn't? Do some research.

A good mobo in the right application

ZOTAC GF8200-C-E AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Mini ITX AMD Motherboard
ZOTAC GF8200-C-E AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

Pros: ITX - Small Nvidia Graphics - Nice Works out of Box Wireless Adapter

Cons: Southbridge runs VERY hot - Blazing USB Wireless adapter - not so much a con, just would prefer something that doesn't require

Overall Review: Southbridge heatsink was blazing, speedfan reported ~84C idle and upwards to 98C under light load. Wasn't going to push it further than that. Under adequate ventilation [Apex MI-8 not being that] should be fine. I may have gotten a bum board, but have seen similar reviews about heat issues. As final note, for everyone saying no XP, just use NLite to slipstream the SATA drivers from Zotac site onto install disk. XP installs fine. 3 stars all because of the heat issues. Returned it to Newegg, as usual, awesome customer service.

WHY?!?!

CORSAIR Survivor Stealth 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFSS3-16GB
CORSAIR Survivor Stealth 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFSS3-16GB

Pros: Seems Bulletproof

Cons: WHY oh WHY doesn't anymore make a flash drive where the keyring portion ISN'T part of the stick? I would buy this in a microsecond if I unscrewed the flash drive and was left with the case on the stick and a non-keyring weighted flash drive to plug in.

Just like a Hard-drive

Verbatim Store 'n' Go Micro Plus 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model 97764
Verbatim Store 'n' Go Micro Plus 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model 97764

Pros: Decent price for what you get.

Cons: I like my flash drives smaller

Overall Review: For the guy with a mid-range tech level complaining it only holds 15G. .. REALLY? Hasn't there been enough discussions regarding advertised size vs actual MB space on disk? Granted they really should advertise the true size, but it's a given accepted practice these days... Sheez, not worth giving it a 1 star rating.

Better Quality than expected for price

Microlab B51 Portable USB-Powered Clip-on Speakers with 3.5 mm Jack
Microlab B51 Portable USB-Powered Clip-on Speakers with 3.5 mm Jack

Pros: 1) Price! 2) Sound quality is better than I expected for $16.00 on sale. It's vastly superior to built in speakers and beats a Dell Speaker Bar hands down. Of course it lacks bass, but it's not a 2.1 system, but at the same time doesn't sound tinny or echo like cheap speakers 3) USB Powered, so I don't have to be concerned with finding a spot for the speaker power brick. Will turn off when usb port powers down [sleep/ etc]. Also has manual on/off switch.

Cons: Will not fit on a standard monitor, really designed for laptops/notebooks with a flat surface on both sides, most current lcd monitors curve at the top.

Overall Review: I'm purchasing another one of these for work, will free up some space on my desk, plus

No Joke Batman!

ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router
ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router

Pros: Reliability, LOTS of features

Cons: Price, plethera of options could be confusing for less-tech inclined

Overall Review: Bought htis to replace Linksys early school N router that was having issues (Haven't to reboot at least weekly, poor speeds). This baby resolved the issue. AT&T Uverse, so I needed this as a wireless AP, one button click, setup wirless info and I'm off and running! No issues after a week, range is better than my old N router and I'm connecting @ 150mbs instead of 130mbs. YAY! LOTS of options, total of 8 guest networks are available. They DO NOT have to be enabled so you can just use the 2.4/5.0 mgz bands, and even then you can disable 2.4 or 5 radios. There was another review about DD-WRT, but who needs it? That's my experience with this, it does a lot DD-WRT can do, not all, but for most people it will be more than sufficient I suspect... Final word: It's pricey, but *WELL* worth the cost if you're looking for reliability and customization options.
