Fast, but needs system to fly

Pros: Fast if put on a fast system, Dont bottle neck the drive by instaling on 1.5 SATA port or install and not do a fresh install of OS. I have mine in a drive cage with a large fan on speed control and even plaing music while playing FPS I stay under 90 F. Plan on building an i7 system soon and will setup two in raid 1.
Cons: Cost is a lot but real issue is bad rebate. Last one I got back in march and I still dont have the rebate. Rebate Details Tracking No: 21XXXXXXX Date Posted: 3/17/2009 2:43:00 PM Date Processed: 4/1/2009 Date Shipped: Your Newegg 300GB WD VelociRaptor 2/16 - 3/1/09 offer was received on 3/17/2009 , processed on 4/1/2009 and it is being prepared to ship please check back periodically for an updated status. BUT, still no check shipped.....why offer $30.00 back if you dont get it months later.
Overall Review: Newegg has been great for products, shipping and on a few occasions RMA and responces to issues for the past 5-6 year's now but I feel it's time for them to cut this rebate place loose for very poor work. No reason for $30.00 to take 3+ months to come back when the average time is claimed to be only 4 to 6 weeks and there is no direct way to call up and find out the delay.
Nice, while it laster

Pros: Nice design, color, setup. Nice manual speed control idea but not completely functional. Better rating if it lasted longer and replaced by Silverstaone fast. We will see.
Cons: Purchased 4/10/2009, this morning turned on computer, sizzle, squel, died. Called RMA for Silverstone, waiting for word on if replace. Kept my raptors cool (under 110) even when really heavy gaming or video work Lucky I had a backup fan. Pot on speed control not right rating for the fan/voltage range. Would be better with 15k or 23k.
Overall Review: Simple logic. Heat Kills, keep them cool and they can last a long time.
RE: It works, simple as that.

Pros: I have an issue with my pickup if it sits for too long the battery is dead. Health has prevented me from doing the testing to find and fix the issue so I got this unit over 2 years ago. Since then only 1 time did it NOT work to start the truck. That was when the battery was way to low. I got a charger to connect when it sits longer BUT with this in the truck, I know it will start 99% of the time.
Cons: It's bad that I need it and do not have the health to find the short in the truck to stop needing it. I may end up buying a 2nd battery kit for the truck as a way to make sure it will start when needed.
Overall Review: For a backup need this is the power to start your car. I have a 5.3L with all the power options for pickup and it starts it. It was well worth the money as it has worked now for over 2 years as needed. Watch the charge % on the display and recharge it when needed.
Years of service without major issue

Pros: Reading some of the comments made here I felt my own use should be posted. I purchased one of these Digitals back in 2005 from an online source. I have used this as part of a gaming setup to run 3 of the Dell 24” 2409 monitors at 5760 X 1080. It’s been attached to a few video cards with only some technical setup changes. Run on an EVGA 8800 to now a EVGA 560 Ti (both with water cooling). Yes, I’ve used this Triplehead2Go for years without major issue. These are simply awesome for FPS and Flight Simulator type games. Also great for doing research for my college work (working on B.A. in C.I.S.). It is so great to have three screens to work on stuff in while doing work.
Cons: Proper use does requires some technical or geek ability that others postings show some do not have and you MUST research the other parts your connecting it to. From the system board video port, the video card you plan to use, the monitors and the power supply to power it all up. You can’t put this on a generic wal’mart box and expect it to work without issue.
Overall Review: I've setup this thing on my main gamer system since 2005 and while I have had some technical stuff to deal with they have worked for years without issue and if you do your research BEFORE installing to make sure your whole system will work and run it then you will enjoy it. I would upload a video but dont have one made right now.
HVR-1600

Pros: On a basic cable line it get's all the channels and good sound. Am getting a second for my home computer with HD cable.
Cons: Good product quality but manual and help could use some work. Those with less then a geek understanding of things will have trouble and may not make it thru setup.
Overall Review: As usual Newegg was great but the maker is less than up to par.
Good drives

Pros: Good speed vs cost. SATA 3.0 and 5 year. Fast Newegg shipping. Got two, one for 2nd boot drive for my E6500 to try out Windows 7 the other for a roswill/Crucial external drive unit to transfer files between PC and laptop and work.
Cons: Runs hot on mild use and really hot on heavy use. Sadly someone lifted the external case and drive so I've lost one.
Overall Review: Now looking at getting a 320GB for the external.
