Reliable - Updated Drivers Disk

BIOSTAR TZ68A+RCH LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
BIOSTAR TZ68A+RCH LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: ~ Easy Bios navigation ~ Modes: AHCI / IDE / RAID ~ Comes with Remote control ~ Recent Updated Drivers on Disk ~ No D.O.A (like Asus or Gigabyte) ~ Easy to follow manual ~ Easy install ~ 4 Sata 3.0 ~ 2 Sata 6.0 This is my 4th build over the last couple of years. I usually go with Asus or Gigabyte motherboards, however reading all the D.O.A's on Asus Reviews and more than a 50% failure rate (Sorry Asus), I did not want to take the chance of having to return a motherboard. Asus's quality has gone down the tubes recently. I have gathered that BIOSTAR motherboards have the least amount of failure rate and last just as long as any other motherboard, this is why I went with this board. What a great choice, I am very satisfied with this T series motherboard since it has the newer Intel model chip TZ68, no problems with board and what a great value!

Cons: No on board USB 3.0 prongs (only 2 inputs for plug ins).

Overall Review: ~ Intel Core i5 2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHZ ~ BIOSTAR TZ68A+RCH ~ ATI / AMD RADEON 5750 DDR5- 3 Monitors! ~ 16GB G.SKILL Ripsaws DDR3 - 1066 (PC3 8500) ~ AzzA 850w power supply ~ Corsair Force 3 Solid State Drive 120gb ~ LG CD/DVD Burner 22X

Lightning Fast!! Get the new updated one.

Corsair Force Series 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CSSD-F120GB3-BK
Corsair Force Series 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CSSD-F120GB3-BK

Pros: Transfer rate: ~ Over 500MB per second... read AND write! I tested this on ATTO technology software (free download). When I did the same test on my NON-SSD drives transfer rate was anywhere from 40MB per second to barely 75MB per second! That's over 5 times slower than this Force 3! ~ Installed Windows 7 in 13 minutes! Windows boots from BIOS in 13 seconds, shuts down in 8 seconds! This is unbelievable. No longer have to wait 1 minute for windows to load and even longer for programs and anti-virus to finish loading! ~ Installed Adobe Suite in minutes, no hesitation on opening any programs. Program installations and Windows updates are extremely fast(after downloads). ~ I love the fact that I can turn on my computer, and in 15 seconds I can click on Chrome (or any browser) and immediately start surfing the internet with no hesitation, same goes for opening any program as soon as Windows loads (under 15 seconds!), everything is already loaded and ready to roll!! ~ Fastest c

Cons: Recall: ~ There was a recall on earlier serial numbers (1125 and before) that had a lot of problems... I got the updated one, serial number started with 1128. ~ Make sure your motherboard offers AHCI mode for SSD's. ~ If you don't set your motherboard in your BIOS to AHCI mode, your system will have problems finding the SSD after window updates (unable to find OS). ~ Unplug all other drives except DVD burner that has Windows 7 for install.

Overall Review: FIRST thing you should do is set disc mode to AHCI in your BIOS!!! ~ I made the mistake by forgetting to change my motherboard mode from IDE to AHCI, had to start installation all over, that's OK it let me see how fast windows install was. ~ UNPLUG all other drives except DVD burner (for windows 7 install disc), and Force 3 SSD drive....this way windows knows exactly what drive to add all the updates to (SSD drive) after windows is installed. Make sure you have already change disc mode from IDE to AHCI in your BIOS before you install windows. ~ After you install windows 7 and download alll updates under AHCI mode, then plug the rest of you other hard drives in. ~ This is the best upgrade I have ever experienced! My specs: ~ Intel Core i5 2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHZ ~ BIOSTAR TZ68A+RCH ~ ATI / AMD RADEON 5750 DDR5- 3 Monitors! ~ 16GB G.SKILL Ripsaws DDR3 - 1066 (PC3 8500) ~ AzzA 850w power supply ~ Corsair Force 3 Solid State Drive 120gb ~ LG CD/DVD Burner 2
