Impressive in both size and performance

Noctua NH-D14, Premium CPU Cooler with Dual NF-P14 PWM and NF-P12 PWM Fans (Brown)
Noctua NH-D14, Premium CPU Cooler with Dual NF-P14 PWM and NF-P12 PWM Fans (Brown)

Pros: I was rather skeptical about the performance of air cooling standing up to my previous water cooling system. I changed out all of my fans including the CPU cooler to Noctua and even at full throttle the system is nearly silent, which was a primary reason for switching to water cooling in the first place. Installation was a breeze, but you do have to remove your motherboard to install this cooler atleast on the 1155 socket. Rock solid, silent performance but rather massive in size.

Cons: Only draw back is the placement of the right fan gets in the of newer high end memory cooling fins. You can adjust the location of this particular fan, but this offsets the position and no longer blows direclty on the bottom of the heat sink. Minor issue, but still performs very well.

Overall Review: If you have rather large heat sinks on your memory, I've thought about trying to move the push fan on the right side to a pull position on the left...I am uncertain about this alternative, but it is "another thought"

Incredibly fast performance

OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 series PCI-E 240GB PCI-Express 2.0 x4 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) RVD3X2-FHPX4-240G
OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 series PCI-E 240GB PCI-Express 2.0 x4 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) RVD3X2-FHPX4-240G

Pros: I was a bit concerned over the pricing of these new units vs their performance. I also read many of the reviews that indicated an extensive initialization time, but have not had these issues. The card itself initializes in roughly 5 seconds via the option rom. Benchmark tests demonstrate is superior performance vs my Vertex 2 SATA II predecessor. Stats increase even under worst conditions between 2-4 times the rate of transfer on both read and write. No BSOD on ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z under current BIOS revision. Amazing job to both ASUS and OCZ on these productions. Blistering performance overall.

Cons: Want more speed...lol, is it ever enough?

Overall Review: Make sure your BIOS is absolutely current before installing the card. Also have the drivers extracted and ready to install prior to installing windows. Also note, if you are installing your drivers for windows for this card during the installation, then re-insert the windows as soon it finishes loading the drivers or you get a misleading error indicating that "your bios may not be able to boot from this drive."

Terrific design 1kw PSU

PC Power & Cooling ZX Series 1000 Watt 80+ Gold Fully-Modular Active PFC Performance Grade ATX PC Power Supply (OCZ-ZX1000W)
PC Power & Cooling ZX Series 1000 Watt 80+ Gold Fully-Modular Active PFC Performance Grade ATX PC Power Supply (OCZ-ZX1000W)

Pros: The modular design is fantastic and includes enough cable options for nearly any configuration including triple SLI which you probably would not run on a 1kw PSU these days. I am running dual GTX 480 SLI configuration and there is ample power for everything else in my system without breaking a sweat.

Cons: Only concern that I have is the single rail design vs a PROPERLY designed multi-rail PSU. This is a single rail PSU which simplifies the design and reduces the cost of production. With the amount of power this PSU is capable of producing, my only concern is component failure/short circuit cut off current of 83A will potentially destroy my system in this unlikely event.

Overall Review: Absolutely love this PSU looks beautifully and reduces the unused cables hanging off the PSU.

Rocking board!

ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: What can I say, but wow....As usual, ASUS has delivered an amazing platform for the Enthusiast with this board. The BIOS is amazingly easy to navigate and control nearly any aspect of the system. No issues at all including a Revodrive 3 x2 boot drive. Flawless execution and great thermal control.

Cons: Only con that I can see is a problem with a majority of system board these days which is the placement of the PCIe slots and the size of SLI video card configurations leave little to no space to add anything else. It seems like the time is coming to increase the height of the system boards to accomodate these newer configurations. Also had an issues with my second video card being identified in PCIe slot #3 where ASUS suggests that you install it. Still investigating this issue, but SLI functions in slot 4 wonderfully.

Overall Review: Would highly recommend this board to others

Great Value

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 015-P3-1480-RX
EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 015-P3-1480-RX

Pros: May not be latest and greatest technology, but as far as overall value vs performance...this is a terrific deal as many of us can't afford two $600 video cards. Card worked very well even as recertified model. Recently ordered two more for SLI.

Cons: none as of yet...

Very Good Rack and great price

iStarUSA WN228 22U 800mm Depth Rack-mount Server Cabinet
iStarUSA WN228 22U 800mm Depth Rack-mount Server Cabinet

Pros: Well designed. Front and rear doors are very well ventilated and constructed. The price was almost half of the Brand names

Cons: Sides covers are flimse and the cable routing could be better especially the cable entry on the bottom.

Overall Review: unit came slightly damaged. The door on one side was dented and one door latch was broken. I was able to straighen the door and work around the broken latch.
