Pros: Price. You can't beat this processor for the price. Simple and plain. Its better than Intel competitor at this price. AMD wins this price range hands down. Runs much much quiter than my AMD athlon 64 x2 6000+, uses less wattage, and is a HUGE upgrade.

Cons: Heat sink and fan are a little weak, but AMD has a warranty on the processor using this Fan, so....If the fan dosent work well enough they will pay for it.

Overall Review: if you want a good pc at a cheap price get this. With Intel set up youll be paying 3x as much at least, and I can not think of any reason to spend that much. Ive been going AMD for the past 10 years, so maybe im a little biased, but I see no reason to switch to intel.

Cons: Well, maybe I got a defect, but the Serial ATA cable does not snap in. Therefore, it does not go all the way in. Now I have to RMA and pay a restocking fee. I think restocking fee should be removed if its a clearly defective item... newegg your really going to restock a defective item....?

Overall Review: No reason to buy this. Just get a normal 2.5 to 3.5 converter mount and avoid another connection.... more connections means more possible problems. Also, its plastic.....

Cons: .. no integrated video.. I knew newegg package "deal" was too good to be true, seriously no integrated video. My fault for not reading the specs fully, but my julie no integrated video is probably the worst idea if something goes wrong. This thing doesn't recognize my video card HIS 5770 ICEQ, can't do much without a screen...... Returning this PO you figure out the last letter.

Pros: Coming from windows vista 32x to windows 7 64x is like the difference between a 1988 ford pinto vs a 2011 BMW 7 series. Win 7 is quick. It loads fast, it shuts down fast, programs start rapidly, it uses less memory and is less taxing on the cpu, it looks sexy, its smooth, I can not have enough praise for this.

Cons: OEM model limits upgrades... YES IT LIMITS UPGRADES. Unlike the previous guy who says you can get a new motherboard, you may or may not be able to, its a grey zone. Sometimes the customer service people will allow you to switch motherboards, its at their discretion. He happened to be able to get a new activation code for whatever reason, but you may not be able to. Keep this in mind when buying the OEM version. A motherboard upgrade may or may not be possible.

Overall Review: I will not by windows computer again simply because I am so insulted by Vista. I will use win 7 and then buy a mac. I know this makes no sense, but I feel Microsoft made me pay double for win 7. I hate vista with a passion, and hence I hate windows even though Microsoft windows 7 is amazing.
