Pros: none it was cheap I guess? Having same issues as Crazy Jamiacan left in his reveiw
Cons: No support Samsung cannot help me no RMA becuz they can't find it in the system no serial number tagged on labels any number on those labels I give the support guy on phone cannot find in system.
Overall Review: will updates this reveiw if I ever get made whole
Pros: easy install good performance low cost
Overall Review: none
Pros: worked great plug n play on an older toshiba like 3yrs old breathed new life into it and was just what I needed
Overall Review: WD makes good hard drives
Pros: good quality, good price, good performance been using Rendition lately due to budget constraints and it has exceeded my expectations
Overall Review: you could buy more expensive ram but not sure it would perform so much better as to offset the cost difference
Pros: This is a very good Motherboard and is best paired with an ATI 3450 for Hybrid Crossfire makes a nice general purpose or Bargain Budget Gaming machine for those who use Facebook or play lots of puzzle games also good performance with online Video
Overall Review: If you are just the average user or need something for the kids this makes a very good and upgradable choice
Pros: I've been buying these for a few years now like the quiet energy savings and performance really good fo non gamers and those who want a balance between going green and still have good response times. I prefer it to the Green Series from WD as those drives are slower
Overall Review: these are great used in HTPC and AMD Vision builds
Pros: As a system builder I look for quality and price this fit the bill, works as expected no issues
Cons: no oem software but thats not really a con
Overall Review: would be nice if these came with sata cables
Pros: I buy many Rosewill products and this is a good one fits may socket types from AMD and is quiet keeps good airflow in system chasis. I also like the lever handle really makes things easier. Thermal grease pre applied helps too.
Cons: doesn't install itself
Pros: OK I love these buy them everytime they are on any sale with free shipping and just stock pile them. My customers love them and the fit nicely in an htpc case or any case for that matter adding convienent functionality to the front of the pc no messing with usb ports in back for cams, mp3 players or phones.
Cons: needs more screw options like on bottom side and top to fit any case
Overall Review: these add value to any build and can be purchased for a steal when on sale.
Pros: Not the fastest but a good buy for a budget build or workstation. No issues tested sticks using Mem too in Vista no errors everything running smooth. No issues with timings or speeds auto select got it all on my ECS 785g Black Edition board
Overall Review: try to get ram when its on sale or free shipping always more bang for the buck at newegg with patience
Pros: Asus equals A-plus and quiet
Overall Review: would have been nice if it came with oem software
Pros: All my home Pc's are at least 2yrs old took out the processors cleaned them and heatsinks with Tul's thermal grease remover then re-greased them with xigmatek and pow my temps lowered and performance seemed smoother or was I kidding myself. Ha lets stick to facts temps went down 3-5 degrees so it did help
Cons: no peel n stick applicator lol
Overall Review: would buy again
Pros: None Newegg took the defective thing back printed me a return postage paid label and gave me a refund I love Newegg. Could of been a bargain had it worked
Cons: Many once I got it installed it would randomly lock up tried it on my desktop, laptop and a pc I had just built for a customer at first install the mouse would work with plug n play drivers, once I reboot the mouse would freeze keyboard never worked properly
Overall Review: Don't know if I got one with a faulty reciever or what but Windows Vista and Windows 7 big fail on this end
Pros: Its nice and compact perfect for htpc case as board is just a bit smaller than other micro atx boards. Nice features all in all would buy again for a budget build.
Cons: updated bios now acc won't work fails to enter windows yet the sempron 140 I'm using works just fine as dual core on Asus board, and was working on this board till I updated bios.
Overall Review: no spdif out built in to back plate and doesn't come with a bracket for it either
Pros: This has become my default build for budget minded people who want an HTPC and all around pc for general tasks like home office/online video/light game play Sempron 140 2.7ghz 45watt, Powercolor 3450 256mb Graphics Card, 2gb ram, AMD785g chipset motherboard, I also throw in a dvdrw and media card reader, wireless keyboard n mouse its a perfect compact low wattage energy saving pc that plays blu-ray, netflix, hulu, h264, and much more runs Vista or Win 7 just fine.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: You could spend more but why this one goes on sale regularly the fan is not as loud as some say. if its positioned in the upright position with the fan at the top gives you the best cooling vs being on its side.Slim Modern Design fits nearly anywhere and looks like part of your entertainment system
Pros: This little guy paired with AMD 780g/785g motherboard and Hybrid Crossfire enabled is gives fantastic performance for everyday tasks, gaming on any older games even FarCry looks Terrific, plus Smooth Blu-Ray/HD Video Playback its low cost as are most of the mobos I mentioned. HDMI/DVI/VGA who could ask for more at this price point and you get DirectX 10.1 I love it simply perfect for my HTPC hooked up to 37" hdtv and built one for my nephew who has it hooked up to 52" Samsung. Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, Youtube all look great too.
Cons: it doesn't come with a case badge/sticker lol I like those
Overall Review: If your on a budget but want good performance try this combo its all I even build now unless its for high end gaming Sempron 140 2.7ghz/ECS780g/2gb pc6400/500gb Caviar Blue WD with this video card you won't be dissapointed performs very well and at a low price
Pros: HDMI, Passive Cooling for quiet operation, Low Profile Bracket included, Direct X 10.1, Hybrid Crossfire ready perfect match to 780/785g chipsets. Just enough ram for the average home user and video enthusiast. Online Streaming looks Great(Netflix, Hulu) and Games like Dungeon Siege, Rise of Nations, Half Life look good play well Facebook Games look great. Plays Blu-Rays seamlessly and upscales standard DVD's.
Cons: It does get a little hot and takes up two slots due to large cooling unit. I reccomend if possible to put a pci slot fan if you u play alot of games and run pc for many hours.
Overall Review: While its not necessary to have a fan on this card its always a good idea to have good circulation in your case. This will also help take the load off your processor during any game or video activities thereby increasing overall performance. Keep your Drivers Up to date
Pros: I really like these and have been putting them in all my recent Builds. Perfect for striking a balance between power consumption and speed, at 320gb the average home user has plenty of storage. Especially these days when more and more people Archive their files in the Cloud or onto external devices
Cons: I wish it ran a little cooler but I don't want to sacrifice speed
Overall Review: If your looking to create Low Power with Good Performance Workstations, or General Purpose custom builds this is great and even better for HTPC as those cases have tight fits with little air circulation as the objective is for the system to be quiet but to remain cool. This does the trick.
Pros: Well it works with XP and thats a plus good for older systems that have poor or dead integrated sound. Pretty Much just plug it in thats always nice
Cons: Price seems a bit high
Pros: I was suprised at the speed in transfering large video and photo files my last drive was slower
Cons: its not a flashlight too
Overall Review: Get a larger capacity I got this one on sale otherwise would have passed for 8gb or higher
Pros: I have to admit I always buy whatever brand of burner is on sale to save my customers a few bucks here and there so I was very surprised by the quietness of this unit. Quick pick up when u insert a disc.
Overall Review: Well priced quality drive
Pros: Very easy to install, Seagates website offers some additional tools if you should ever need them. Good warranty, quality builds.
Overall Review: I'm always looking for Quality and Price with Seagate and Newegg those two objectives often meet
Pros: I have been buying transcend for awhile now very good product usually at a good price too
Overall Review: try to buy it on sale however its usually priced lower than other brands and functions just as well
Pros: Stable quality Ram never fails there are other Brands but PNY always delivers easy to install good warranty
Overall Review: try to stock up when its on sale
Pros: I play all my Games, do video processing much faster than my Athlon X2 this processor is Incredible all the Features of a Quad in a Dual Core I never overclock because it disables the energy saving features in AMD's Cool N Quiet technology I totally reccomend this processor at 80watts, 6mb L3 Cache it kicks the hiney off my Amd Phenom Kuma black edition go Phenom II X2 some AM2+ boards can fit this Processor but I bought the ECS A785GM-M3 Black Edition Micro-ATX board and 3gb of DDR3 Ram with Windows Vista Ultimate Edition SP2 its so snappy and responsive.
Cons: none the stock heatsink works fine and mine is very quiet
Overall Review: You could buy a Quad but why if you just want a fast good cpu or on a budget you just can't go wrong with this cpu many current programs don't even recognize the Quad cores full potential but Dual Cores have been around long enough for software to catch up I'm very happy with this cpu and you will be too.
