The one to rule them all.
Pros: I am somewhat of a mouse collector as I am always looking for the perfect all in one. I use to use 2 mice, one for shooters and one for rpg type games. I went from an xtd, to g502 to now the Tyon. I have recently also purchased the Nyth however the shape is better for slower twitch games not shooters IMO. I found the g502 almost perfect but was a bit to narrow so it had issues holding it for long gaming sessions. The Tyon just had it all, all the buttons I need, it's laser is amazing, it's a great size and shape for fast shooters while also being rpg friendly. Software is very easy to use and it's been 99 percent issue free. This is only the second mouse to make it into my mouse hall of fame. First was the G9X just fyi.
Cons: For almost exactly 1 day a firmware update made the mouse act funny, next morning it was updated again and fixed. Normally I wait a few days before I update firmware on anything to read about bugs...woops.
Overall Review: I buy a lot of mice and this most likely will continue, I just like testing mice and other PC/tech gear. Modern games IMO need more then the classic few buttons of most "FPS" type mice and rpg mice are made for long comfort and are just slow due to wider shapes in general. Roccat hit a homerun with this one. Very few mice and do it all and not miss a beat. Only mouse right now that comes close IMO is the G502 which I also think is great. Roccat has and will be tops on my list for gaming mice, I see zero need to get another any time soon. Put it in your cart and check out.
Does what you need it to do.
Pros: If it's on the spec page then you know all you need to know. It works perfectly and seems to be built well. I was just replacing an older lower end model which was plastic and saw this one in sale so had to jump on it.
Cons: The only flaw I see and it's being pretty uptight but the activity lights in the rear are very bright. It's pretty distracting in a dark room while watching movies but I suppose you do get use to it.
Overall Review: It's a simple device, no real need to over think it, it works and you cant complain about it. I didnt score it perfect because of the lights being very bright but it would really be more like 4 and a half eggs if that was possible. It's a solid buy for anyone needing to connect a handful of devices to the net.
didnt know it was plug and play
Pros: plug and play as far as the wired part. i have a few gaming rigs so i wanted to share connection rather then change the ethernet cord and reset the modem everytime. plugged the thing in and it worked with out doing anything at all. set up the wireless part with in maybe 3 minutes after i loaded the included cd.
Cons: none, works great
Overall Review: the speeds on both bands is great and consistant. this was a worry of mine cuz alot of what i read on many other routers is one band being better then the other. this one gives you great consistant speeds on both bands.
saved me time
Pros: does what you think its supposed to do. tells you when your wires are perfect, have some crossed and not connected
Overall Review: im normally great at making cat5e cables but i just had one of those days where i got one wire crossed a half dozen times. my allergies were kicking in thanks to the wind so i couldnt really see inside the rj45 to find out which side was messed up...of course the reader told me exactly which one it was so was able to fix it...had to make a dozen cables this day...grrr.
