4.5GHZ 1.30v

Pros: Using on RAMPAGE FORMULA IV AWESOME CPU , Can now run XMP ram profile and overclock keeping XMP settings... -just nudged up the voltage to 1.3v & mutlix45 overnight OCCT stable, could not be happier -1st generation to have these features under $1000 -Runs cool 50deg under load, on same system my old i7920 needed 1.42v to do 4ghz @ 80deg -Highly reccomend, i was a bit nervous on spending $600 on a cpu as i have only bought $300 chips in the past... But i honestly think its worth every dollar
Cons: I have full watercooling setup , the stock heatsink fan would of been good to test it outside of the case as i normally do before instalation (a full day job with my watercooling build) but if it keeps the price down a bit all good.. + all works perfectly so no worries
Too many corners cut

Pros: Fantastic lay out, could be perfect if abit more consideration was given to internal radiator support -Love the top fan pannel -Design improvment on my PC-80 -Overpriced due to cut corners by lian li (see cons)
Cons: 1st of all Quality Control is getting much worse at Lian li, I had bubbly paint on the bottom of the front door 2. No LED fans , for case of this cost, should come with LED fans with a switch next to fan speed controller to turn LEDs on and off 3.Poor watercooling options , The top rad has to be 30mm or less thinckness 4.Ended up cutting a 140x2 in the floor (should come as a standard cut out for a case of this cost 5.Got the case powder coated due to botched lian li paint With so many cases with fantastic watercooling options like the 800D, Lian Li have to provide the same service to there highest end cases at a minimum, puting two watercooling grommets on the back and calling it a day is NOT WATERCOOLING READY! IF better radiator support out of the box was available (at least two rads in a case this size, it would be worth every $$) ... I dont mind spending this amount of money , if A-Quality is flawless (PC-80 was) B- I dont need to MOD it for what should be simple on Lian
False Advertising + Bad product

Pros: Quiet - thats about it
Cons: 1. Voltage is completly locked... Im so angry that ASUS didnt state this on the product description page... The reference cards are unlocked you built a OVERCLOCKING card and then stop people from overclocking on it... unless you solder wires onto it and even then you need the R4E to do that and in the process instantly loose your 3yr warranty... Crossfire is herrific , single card works considerably better in most games... BF3 you need 100fps+ just to avoid the micro stutter that makes the game feel like its running 5fps.. Saved up for these and feel like i have been cheated by ATI and ASUS in particular
Great Cards > Reccomended

Pros: Quite and run well... Bought 2x Top DC II's, one came DOA... Replacment works perfect (these things happen dont knock eggs off because of a DOA) Both cards do 1125mhz / 6000mhz Stock to problem Both cards do 1250mhz 1.2v no problem (havent tried Higher yet) Going to watercool them with EK blocks shortly Upgraded from 3x GTX480 @ 900mhz and notice MASSIVE diffrence 40-55fps (3way GTX480) vs 90-140fps (7970 x 2) This is the first time ever owning AMD cards always been NVIDIA ... but as i was getting destroyed by the 1.5gb vram on GTX480 there was no way I was spending more money on a GPU (GTX680) with only 2gb VRAM...Playing BF3 2560x1440 maxed I use 2.3gb VRAM..... These cards are completly worth it over the GTX680 for the added VRAM if you play on displays bigger than 1080p and want some future proofing Cooler works well on GPU's see top temps 80deg OC (1250mhz) Love the full Display ports not mini ones as on stock 2560x1440 dells work no worries with DP (other than
Cons: VRM temps could be better one card runs 90deg VRM whislt other runs 70deg VRM ... unsure why the discrepency maybe poor thermal pad contact on the higher temp card Not all the DP connections support 2560x1440 + screen sizes (didnt know this and cant see it on the product page)
Overall Review: In buying a OC or premium card you are not guaranteed OC above what they sell them at ie 1000mhz in this case... It is luck otherwise ASUS would sell every card at 1250mhz And dont complain about size or its 3-slots etc you know what you are buying and there are measurments avialabe for top teir card Great buy for the money and hope I get the use out of them like my GTX480's and as a Tip have a solid gap between the cards in X-fire and good airflow as they can get very hot very quickly
Not a Gaming Board

Pros: Has plenty extreme overclocking features -PCIE dip switches are AWESOME feature have 4xGTX480's SLI , heavily OC on water,, awesome feature to find each cards limit and set independent voltages to each card. -AWESOME bios... could spend a year in the bios alone and still be discovering things
Cons: VERY ANNOYED..thinking of selling to friend to buy the RAMPAGE IV FORMULA is the true ROG board...(wasnt out when i bought the R4E) The extreme shouldnt be in the ROG line up... hardly anything on this board is gaming orientated should be ROOC (republic of overclockers).. -Have a look at the Formula features, Sound card built in, Killer nic ,type lan port.. all the features of the extreme but not LN2 stuff and OC KEY (which is stupid) i use ROG connect with a laptop if i need anything, like that. -Overpriced for what it is - way to much stupid gimmicky rubbish that pushes up the price -Fan on CHipset should have BIOS control to make it turn on only when its needed this aint a option! load
Overall Review: Dont get me wrong a great board if you are LN2 / EXTREME overclocker ... But dont waste your money and buy this if your going to put it in a case with a 4.5ghz OC or watever and call it a day.. FAR better options out there .. see rampage IV formula... everything identical, power dilivery etc etc bar the OC features and extra ram slots, which if your a gamer who is going to be gaming with more than 32gb ram i mean seriously ppl need 64gb ram? ... The reason i removed two eggs is this is suposed to be a ROG (GAMING board) but it really aint
Best Power Supply

Pros: **Updating review two below** Power supply has stopped making an screeching noise like people said needed a burn in period,, PC is whisper quite and whats most awsome put a thermometer on the psu, max temp i have seen it get to is 32c with the fan hardly turning!!! Silent and thats at load of 850W!! my old enermax1250w was making 45db of sound and over 50c hot at that point , the effeciency goes further than just saving you power it saves your ears and wallet!!
Cons: Would be great to see corsair have availabe a extra kit of cables (maybe for purchase as silverstone does), majority of cases are now using bottom mounted PSU and need very short cables for GPUs i have 3x 480 and thats a monster amount of extra wire to try and hide and keep things tiny!!
Overall Review: Give it a go.
