Define R4 Review
Pros: -Very good at containing fan noise. Comes with 2x 140mm "Fractal" brand fans with white blades -"Professional", sleek-looking design -Comes with 2 sturdy fan filters. 1xbottom ;1xFront -No-hassle access to front fans -Sound dampening material installed -Can mount 2 SSD's on the back panel, behind the mobo -Lots of space for HDD's. Lots. -There's a fan controller built into the case. You can control the voltage from the front panel.(5v, 7v, 12v) A fan adapter for 3 fans are included. I personally did not use this.
Cons: -A bit heavier and ~2 inches longer than my previous case, the HAF 912 -If you ever want to take an SSD off, you have to take the mobo off as well. I don't like the idea of that so I just installed my SSD where the HDD would go -Not completely screw-free: You have to screw the HDD onto the mounting tray, THEN slide it in. Not really a problem since you won't have a reason to unscrew it unless the HDD dies or you transfer to a new PC case.
Overall Review: The most attractive thing about this case is the sound dampening + design. There are few cases out there that look "simple", most of them are reminiscent of an ancient alien culture. My previous case was excellent for holding the components but it was not built to contain noise. With this case it excels at containing fan noise, even at high settings.
Pros: Works, easy to install, dual channel, has two antennas for maximum signal coverage. This thing is good for picking up a router very close to you, if you're trying to grab signal from next door it won't work very well.
Cons: Not plug and play, had to install drivers manually in windows 7. Plug n play works for windows 8.
Pros: -Adjustable DPI -Laser -Big (Could be a con depending on your preference) -Designed to comfortably accommodate your claw-grip
Cons: -It has a glossy surface, so it will look dirty over time. Also, "dirt" keeps getting accumulated on the spot where my fingers click. -Loud click. Also, you can hear the plastic "squeak" if you click very closely.
Overall Review: For some reason the DPI setting keeps getting reset back to default (1000) every time I start my pc or return from sleep. Also if you have small hands you probably shouldn't get this mouse. The effective click range is at the very top of the mouse, so it does force you to hold the mouse at the "claw" style. I got used to it though. The mouse definitely has a louder click than my other mouse. Also, over time it got a little squeaky.
