Home NAS made easy!
Pros: Mature product offers simple setup and good support documentation RAID 1 by default UPnP router setup automatically established port forwarding Data is accessible from anywhere A lot of packages that can be installed including Apache and PHP Easy to configure web hosting Power management
Cons: A lot of advanced features that I did not understand Took some time to configure two separate domains and to get working
Overall Review: This replaced a mini pc I had ubuntu server installed on. I feel like I get better energy management.
Intel Brand and Quality
Pros: Lower power consumption not mechanical
Cons: No mounting bracket, screws, or cabling - you get just a drive. After formatting I get 488GB drive which 488 x 1024 = 500GB drive not 512.
Why did I wait? Should have gotten this a year ago.
Pros: App setup - scanned QR Code on box to register item and configure it Though tri-ban, only one SSID is broadcast. I have a few devices that only connect to 2.4 and had no issues establishing contact. Clean and simple GUI to view settings and configurations on a laptop/computer. Eliminated my need for an extender. With extender had RSSI of -49 and now have RSSI of -35 (0 is perfect) at our Ring camera at the garage. Super simple to setup.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Replaced a Asus RT-AC66U. Used the same SSID and password or older router and most devices automatically reconnected. The two Roku's did not.
Worked Well
Pros: Sipped my SSD into this and mounted in a 3.5" drive bay.
Cons: Not the full size of a 3.5" drive. This could affect some mounting options.
Love it
Pros: Needed a gaming computer for my many trips I make for work. I play CS: Source and WoW mostly. This works very well and the battery lasts for several hours. -boots fast -great graphics -good battery -great price -Windows 10 -Lots of storage and RAM -Two graphics cards
Cons: none for me.
Overall Review: The keyboard keys light up, it was a surprise to me!
Good Product
Pros: Quick resume from sleep, about 3 seconds to log-in screen. Fast - plays all games no issues All in one, no cables all over the place for monitor and speakers. Big monitor Sound is good, external speakers not needed
Cons: Some glare off the light behind me. Viewing angle is small, not an issue if sitting in front of the monitor.
Overall Review: This replaced my seven (7) year-old computer tower. I believe the all-in-one is the future of gaming computers.
