speed
Pros: Size, price, loading programs, no bog down or waiting for things to load.
Cons: Other SSD will load windows faster.
Overall Review: Don't buy this if you want the fastest SSD on the market. Buy it if you want one of the most reliable drives. I switched from a 10,000 rpm WD velociraptor so the speed difference was good…not great. 10 seconds to bios screen then another 10 seconds to windows. What I do notice is once windows is booted you are ready to go…no bog down from startup programs. My rig is an a first generation i7 with 24gb of ram, most programs load in under a few seconds with this SSD. Undoubtedly faster than any standard HD on the market.
Great while it lasted
Pros: Brand name big screen, better aspect ratio for my use (graphics/CAD/rendering/modeling/photo editing).
Cons: About a month after I bought this monitor the bottom right of the screen started to occasionally go dim. It now goes dim every time I turn the monitor on or after waking it up from sleep. The bottom left is now starting to do the same. After several power cycles (3-8) it will temporarily reset to full brightness. It just happened now as I'm writing this. The calibration is off, to the point that it would hurt my eyes until I adjusted the settings (using a DVI connection); not as bad with display port.
Overall Review: I'm pretty disappointed because I wanted to have the office buy a bunch of these. I bought this one thinking it would serve as a show and tell; instead I'm just stuck with a bad monitor and money out of my own pocket.
Great Price
Overall Review: I had no issues installing this RAM and the heatsink felt sturdy. There's no "AMD Edition" branding or mention of it anywhere on the package or on the ram itself & I did have to manually set the voltage/speed in my bios.
benchmarks
Pros: price
Cons: reviews
Overall Review: Take a look at the benchmarks on this processor. Most of the processors in it's class are $1000; the inexpensive ones are double the price. This is a top of the line high end CPU for the price of the typical 'latest and greatest' 'flavor of the month'.
fan
Pros: Very thin, extremely quiet.
Cons: Doesn't move much air.
case fan
Pros: Extremely quiet, large, fits in 120mm holes.
Cons: Doesn't move much air.
Overall Review: I decided to use this fan for top exhaust...not enough air flow for intake.
