A great idea!

Rosewill Patented 5" Anti-skid Cushion for GPS
Rosewill Patented 5" Anti-skid Cushion for GPS

Pros: - Portable, easy to move around with your GPS - Easily holds my 5 in. GPS up on the dash - Allows you to move your GPS around on the dash without being stuck to the windshield - Convenient way to move a GPS from one vehicle to the next

Cons: - Stays in place with the silicone base, however, if you stop really fast it's going to slide, but that should be a given since it relies on the weight of the unit and friction to stay put.

Overall Review: This works much better than sticking the holder to your windshield. Instead you simply attach the suction cup holder of your GPS unit to the center of this device. Used with Garmin 1450

Most Critical Review

What's up with the ratings???

HEC 6C28BBX585 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 585W Power Supply
HEC 6C28BBX585 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 585W Power Supply

Pros: You get a 585W power supply and a case in one. Power supply worked out of the box, unlike other reviews. Now on to the reality...you are paying for that PS whether you realize it or not. Came as part of a "killer" Newegg combo deal. Newegg is the king of deals! Some reviews mentioned lack of standoff's. That's really not a problem as the case has raised areas where the motherboard screws directly onto the threaded holes on the back panel. That is different than other case manufacturers, so probably threw some people. There were a couple of extra screw-in type standoffs provided to support the uATX mobo I used...but alas, they stripped out. This is the most basic of cases. As it states in the Overview "HEC's 6C28BBX585 Mid Tower is great value for people who are trying to build an inexpensive system..." That pretty much sums it up.

Cons: Where do I begin? So many flaws. 1. Case is poor quality, thin metal, bends easy, like it was made from recycled Chinese beer cans 2. Wear gloves to be safe!!! Sharp edges, burrs, etc. Lacks good finish on the metal. Cut myself twice on it. 3. As mentioned by others, the front USB ports are very close together. You can put two cables in side by side but don't try a cable with a USB flash drive. 3. Only one expansion card blank provided? What is up with that? I guess the idea is that you only remove the punch-out expansion card blanks that you need and leave the rest in place. I had some extras blanks from some other higher quality cases used in previous builds, so I put those in place instead. 4. As mentioned in the "Pros" section, I used some leftover standoffs from previous builds to fix standoffs that stripped out on me before I could get the motherboard completely tight. 5. Practically non-existent documentation...one page and the material list didn't match 6. 80

Overall Review: Ended up getting the package to work after MUCH effort. This was designed to be a budget build to replace my wife's old computer with a new one. To that end it finished up just fine. If this case didn't come as a package deal I would never buy it outright on its own. Watch the sales and get a better quality case. You can probably come out about the same $ for a case and P.S. if you get them both on sale. Build: - HEC 6C case, as noted - Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo - Intel E6500 - G.Skill 4GB F2-6400CL5D - XFX HD4350 HD-435X-YAH2 - WD 500 GB HD

Not Windows 10 compatible

TP-Link 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express, PCIE Network Adapter / Network Card / Ethernet Card for PC, Win10 supported (TG-3468)
TP-Link 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express, PCIE Network Adapter / Network Card / Ethernet Card for PC, Win10 supported (TG-3468)

Pros: Works fine on Windows 7 x64

Cons: I have tried for two weeks to get this to work on a Windows 10 machine with no luck. It will not connect to the internet. I tried to manually connect using a fixed IP address and that didn't work. Also tried using DHCP to auto assign an address. I tried different drivers. I even tried using it with IPv6 disabled. Nothing. I have no idea why this will not run under a Win10 OS. I took the card out and put it into another Win7 machine and it worked fine, so it's not the physical card. I would like to hear from someone that has been successful getting this to work. I'd like to hear from TP-Link to give an explanation. Are they planning to come out with updated drivers?

Seriously Asus?

ASUS RT-N56U Wireless Router Dual Band N600 Multimedia Ultra Slim Gigabit 802.11a/b/g/n support USB Storage, Print and Media Server
ASUS RT-N56U Wireless Router Dual Band N600 Multimedia Ultra Slim Gigabit 802.11a/b/g/n support USB Storage, Print and Media Server

Pros: When it works, it's fantastic. Wired side works well.

Cons: Wireless started out working flawless. Now about 3 1/2 months in it is giving me problems constantly. I have tried all versions of Asus' firmware. Continually drops connections no matter what the device. I've tried iPhones, Android phones, Kindle tablets, laptop computers...doesn't matter. They all experience Wi-fi drops. I've been a pretty strong supporter of Asus products up until now. Let's see how well they stand behind their warranty. Seems like a hardware problem to me.

Overall Review: I have many, many years of experience working with computers. I've built several of my own. I know networks. I even design control systems in industry. It's not like I'm new to the game here, so I know it's nothing on my side.

Noisy model airplane

ECS GeForce GT 520 (Fermi) 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card NGT520C-1GQK-F
ECS GeForce GT 520 (Fermi) 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card NGT520C-1GQK-F

Pros: - Cheap - Works...at least so far

Cons: - GPU cooler fan makes a HORRIBLE noise. Sounds like a small model airplane flying around inside the case - Rebates suck. When are manufacturers going to give up on this archaic practice?

Overall Review: I guess you get what you pay for. It was cheap and it sounds cheap. Not good if you're building a HTPC, which is the situation here. Not impressed with Elite Group. This is my first purchase of their product. Probably my last. We'll see if their tech support can send me out another cooler to replace this one.

Solid...don't pay more for the same

Rosewill 6-Foot High Speed HDMI Cable (RC-6-HDM-MM-BK)
Rosewill 6-Foot High Speed HDMI Cable (RC-6-HDM-MM-BK)

Pros: - Plugged it in and it works. What more do you need from a cable? - I'm using 2 of them and they both work

Cons: - None. It's a cable. It either works or it doesn't

Overall Review: - Don't pay the outrageous prices all these businesses are asking for an HDMI cable. You're getting scammed if you do. Seriously... $40, $50, $60+ for a 6 ft cable???
