HEC 6C28BBX585 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 585W Power Supply

Pros: I was very suprised at how good this case looks up close, I built it for a client and they were very satisfied. the front of it is nice glossy black, which you might not be able to tell from the picture, also the power supply seems to hold up to what it says.

Cons: I cut my hand while popping out the fron cover for the disk drive, be carefull

Pros: This case has a lot of room. Is well built and looks nice.

Cons: The rubber feet come off fairly easily at the bottom of the case and the case could have came with a bigger fan at the back.

Overall Review: I really like this case.

Pros: Great case - expansion is good, power supply was easy to connect and MB was easy to mount

Cons: only one sata power connection and the fan was small for the case (that's an easy fix though)

Pros: Case is sturdy for this price point. Included power supply is good for most systems. Airflow in the case is good enough to keep my recent build at a decent temp. Included fan is a 3 prong and not a molex connection.

Cons: Some very minor cons, power supply has only one SATA connection. PCI E connection is not from the power supply but a Molex adapter that has 6 wires. Motherboard tray does not use standoffs but has dimples.

Overall Review: Still even with the cons above I give it 5 eggs. Included power supply is nothing spectacular but it works. Case does have room for 120mm fans on both the front and rear. I'm not sure but I think you can take the CPU Shroud off the side cover and replace it with a 120mm fan as well. This was user for an AMD X2-5200 and an ECS GF8200A (V1.0) with an ATI HD4650 with 4GB of ram and a 320GB Sata HD and 2 Sata DVD drives. Plenty of space to hide cables if you get creative. (Newegg rocks)

Pros: Simple design, clean lines and you don't have to open the front cover to get at the DVD drive. Reasonable poser supply included. PS fan surprisingly quiet.

Cons: You do need screws to secure drives. The side panels use screws, no quick release.

Overall Review: Good bang for the buck if you are looking for a simple case.

Pros: i was putting a computer together for the family and i only bought this case because it included a power supply. figured it was cheap enough. motherboard took me a while to screw in but everything powered up ok. lots of room around the drive bays and lots of opportunities to add more drives. the glossy front gives it a cool look. overall, a decent purchase, it did have a power supply.

Cons: it was much bigger then i really wanted for a case, but i suppose its on me for not reading the specs. big size, big weight!

Pros: Everything fit fine for my system with plenty of room to grow. Even my MSI NX8600GTS-T2D256EZ HD video card fits with no trouble. The power supply has worked fine and I have no complaints for the price. I used the stock case fan as an intake on the front and used a Thermaltake A2029 120mm on the back. Everything is quite although the power supply fans are audible.

Cons: -Power supply is cheap but works fine

Overall Review: -So it doesn't have LEDs or isn't shaped like an alien space ship, I don't care. It is a box to hold the components you should be spending the real money on.

Pros: You get a 585W power supply and a case in one. Power supply worked out of the box, unlike other reviews. Now on to the reality...you are paying for that PS whether you realize it or not. Came as part of a "killer" Newegg combo deal. Newegg is the king of deals! Some reviews mentioned lack of standoff's. That's really not a problem as the case has raised areas where the motherboard screws directly onto the threaded holes on the back panel. That is different than other case manufacturers, so probably threw some people. There were a couple of extra screw-in type standoffs provided to support the uATX mobo I used...but alas, they stripped out. This is the most basic of cases. As it states in the Overview "HEC's 6C28BBX585 Mid Tower is great value for people who are trying to build an inexpensive system..." That pretty much sums it up.

Cons: Where do I begin? So many flaws. 1. Case is poor quality, thin metal, bends easy, like it was made from recycled Chinese beer cans 2. Wear gloves to be safe!!! Sharp edges, burrs, etc. Lacks good finish on the metal. Cut myself twice on it. 3. As mentioned by others, the front USB ports are very close together. You can put two cables in side by side but don't try a cable with a USB flash drive. 3. Only one expansion card blank provided? What is up with that? I guess the idea is that you only remove the punch-out expansion card blanks that you need and leave the rest in place. I had some extras blanks from some other higher quality cases used in previous builds, so I put those in place instead. 4. As mentioned in the "Pros" section, I used some leftover standoffs from previous builds to fix standoffs that stripped out on me before I could get the motherboard completely tight. 5. Practically non-existent documentation...one page and the material list didn't match 6. 80

Overall Review: Ended up getting the package to work after MUCH effort. This was designed to be a budget build to replace my wife's old computer with a new one. To that end it finished up just fine. If this case didn't come as a package deal I would never buy it outright on its own. Watch the sales and get a better quality case. You can probably come out about the same $ for a case and P.S. if you get them both on sale.
