Humble Opinion

Pros: I transferred all my components from my A8N-SLI Premium (great board, just wanted 16X SLI) to this one and reinstalled a fresh copy of windows. This is my fourth Asus motherboard over the last several years and all have been wonderful with no major issues. I took a gamble and installed my water cooled setup (CPU and 2 GPU water blocks) crossed my fingers then turned it on and....whew, everything worked, no need to teardown and troubleshoot. The BIOS pages are easy to navigate and understand, however, a little more in depth than my SLI-Premium. Ram was detected with correct timings at 1T. I set my FX55 at 1.425v with a 13.5 multiplier and memory at 220 with auto voltage, hence 2.97 GHz (thought I'd save you the math). Run stable for 14hrs Prime 95 at 100% (good enough in my book) FYI, mine shipped with Bios 1205. I downloaded Nvidia ver. 6.86 chipset drivers, so I can't comment on the stability of the version on the disk. Also, I have a sound card so I can't comment an onboard
Cons: Just a note... I run my system very hard, in a well ventilated case, and the motherboard temperature runs at the upper threshold (as per Asus probe and Thermal sensors), but remains stable so I can't complain since water cooling might be a contributing factor. Also does not recognize my Maxtor Maxline III SATA storage drive, which is a known issue with Nforce 4 mobos not necessarily this board. (Flashed to Bios 1303, still no joy.)
Overall Review: I am a fan of AMD and Nvidia. Curious to see how the AMD/ATI marriage works out for us enthusiasts. These are my modest components that come together in humble unison... Thank you Newegg and reviewers, who make by decisions easier.
Ehh!

Pros: Inexpensive...
Cons: Cheap...
Overall Review: It takes a while to figure it out sans the instruction manual. When I first loaded it with music, any small bump would lock it up. I was ready to throw it away but decided to give it to my 11 year old to figure out. 1 week later it runs very stable and does not lock up anymore. Go figure. I still, however, cannot recommend this product.
Ahh Drats!

Pros: Well...it was fast.... Simple WD RMA process. Downloadable trouble shooting software on the WD website.
Cons: Failed after 2 years of light use in a very well ventilated case.
Overall Review: I understand HDs' fail...no big deal. But....after 2 years of use and 3 years remaining on the 5 year warranty, my replacement is refurbished and only comes with a 60 day Warranty.....OH, COME ON WD!!
Loyal AMD User

Pros: Great raw computing power with 1MB Cache. Proven, reliable platform. I don't multi-task, so this is perfect for me. Big improvement from the 3000+.
Cons: No con for me or the proc. but price is up 50% from when I bought it three weeks ago.
Overall Review: Bought this to upgrade a second computer, and with slight oc it runs almost as fast as my FX55 at stock that I bought a year ago for almost a grand, ay caramba!
Robust!

Pros: Installed it on a barebone build with the MS-1013. I travel alot and mostly use it in hotel rooms and airports. Excellent reception/range; no frustrating disconnects.
Cons: None
Overall Review: At first I could not get it to work with my known good Netgear router. Even though it was recognized as an available network, it showed zero signal. I was ready to RMA but decided to try it with a D-link and ....bingo, no problems... strange. The Ralinktech driver, as stated by a previous reviewer, is a great alternative.
: )

Comments: Going on two months now with this mobo with no issues at all. Running 2 1GB sticks of OCZ performance mem. with 3-3-3-8 timings @ 220mhz stable, FX-55 SD core, 250gb Maxtor SATA, and 2 Leadtek 7800GTX. No problems whatsoever on initial setup like prev. reviews. Sweet FPS's and benchmarks great! Very Happy!
