Fast and cool

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card 11322-01-40G
SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card 11322-01-40G

Pros: - 40% faster than my old 6800xt Merc on average - Beautiful card - Smooth gameplay - Little/no coil whine - Comes with support bar - Extremely quiet fans - Top tier cooling design, at max load hotspot doesn't go above 80 C with fans at 40% - Fan health check with Trixx software and easy fan swap if one goes out - Newegg support/communication

Cons: - Early platform, AMD is still working out driver bugs and such, though I'd say drivers are in a pretty good spot at the moment, but I'd still like to see some improvements such as with the high idle power. - Idle power draw issue, this depends on your config. With my 4K monitor at 144hz and Freesync Premium Pro turned on + my 1440p monitor at 60hz I get around 50W idle. If I turn off Freesync and/or have my 1440p monitor running at a higher refresh rate then 60hz idle power becomes around 100W. - Trixx software has limited lighting effects options if you care about that, basically you have static color of your choice or rainbow/random color cycle for any dynamic effect - Ray-Tracing performance is better than previous gen. Radeon card but still not up to par with NVIDIA - Streaming through Discord does not support AV1 encoding on AMD GPUs so when I stream to friends the audio becomes crackly after a couple of minutes since Discord uses CPU instead of GPU. This is not so much of an issue with this card as it is with Discord's AMD support, but it's not an issue if you don't really care about streaming through Discord

Overall Review: If you want a fast card that stays super cool and don't care about ray-tracing this is the card for you.

Coil Whine

EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G6, 80 Plus Gold 1000W, Fully Modular, Eco Mode with FDB Fan, 100% Japanese Capacitors, 10 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester, Compact 140mm Size, 220-G6-1000-X1
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G6, 80 Plus Gold 1000W, Fully Modular, Eco Mode with FDB Fan, 100% Japanese Capacitors, 10 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester, Compact 140mm Size, 220-G6-1000-X1

Pros: - Well-built Seasonic Platform - Good Voltage regulation - A tier on PSU Cultist Tier list

Cons: - Caused excessive coil whine with on my GPU, ymmv as coil whine depends on how your specific components play with eachother.

Overall Review: - It's worth a shot, it is a great product, my only issue was the coil whine

Great reliable PSU with one minor complaint

Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1000W 80+ Titanium, 10 Years Warranty, ECO Fanless & Silent Mode, Full Modular Power Supply, Dual Ball Bearing Fan, SF-1000F14HT
Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1000W 80+ Titanium, 10 Years Warranty, ECO Fanless & Silent Mode, Full Modular Power Supply, Dual Ball Bearing Fan, SF-1000F14HT

Pros: - 80+ Titanium efficiency - Stable, clean power - Fantastic design/build quality (A Tier on Cultist PSU list) - Coil whine from GPU with old PSU no longer there - Plenty of power at 1000W for 7900xtx + 7700x - Eco mode is very quiet - Fantastic airflow/cooling, you can feel a significant cool breeze coming from the back of the PSU - Great price on sale

Cons: - Idle fans are on the louder side but nothing too intrusive as it is a smooth sound - At full load fans make a helicopter-like sound rather than the smooth turbine-like sound which can be annoying although I cannot hear it past earphones - Eco mode switch on front side of PSU, could be hard to reach depending on your PC case

Overall Review: I would recommend this for anyone needing to upgrade an EVGA PSU that doesn't want to swap out all cables as Super Flower has the same pinout as a majority of EVGA PSUs. For lower noise I would look at a Corsair HX/RX1000i but they are more expensive
