I bought this board with the amd ryzen 7 1700 (no X on the end) 3 ghz/3.7ghz precision boost. i first bought 1 x CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model ... and that wouldnt even do a P.O.S.T. Then I bought 1 x Team Dark Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model ... and that wouldnt P.O.S.T. either ASUS refered me to the qualified vendors list. Lets just say, after talking to NewEgg's tech support, the ryzen chip is very tempermental. Stay with the QVL! dont waste your time. They recommended the 1 x G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model .... I hope it works... I will update when I get it in a day.

Cons: So far no cons customer service is excellent. If you are new to building or haven't done it in like 10 years definitely get the Premier Membership. It will help with the mistakes you ARE gonna make.

Overall Review: I recommend the company and asus. Both are the best of the best. fast and responsive. I have bought over the years from different companies and new egg is the best and seems to only get better

Pros: responded very quickly about some supports that were bad. CrunchyCrackers there is a case manufacturer who cares. even with small issues very big case but worth it for growth awesome water cooler bay. awesome room for wverything the little rubber tabs that cover the usb ports on top do not attach. easy to lose with kids. but not a decision breaker! so many ways to ventilate just wish the window was not plexy. I cant tell if it is tempered. Definitely 10 out of 10 Customer service Rocks !!!!!!! Let me say that again Customer service Rocks!!!!!! When i didn't respond in a timely manner they sent what the thought would work . I responded before it got to me and they are reshipping the correct screws!!!! Did I say they rock!! I am a new customer that they have earned my business with that kind of service!

Cons: The wiring inside is not something you want to play with. do at your own peril. its plug and play . we had a bad mother board but i went with my troubleshooting and it did point to the mother board. New egg's support believed it was the case also but said it could be a case issue to pull out the board and short the pins to see if the board will get out of standby. my first defect from the mother board manufacturer. ever. Needless to say the case is flawless

Pros: Even though it says it is ryzen compatible It still must be listed from the qualified vendors list. Call newegg customer support to find the site if you cant find it.
