Comments: This card is pretty sweet, It runs Halo with all the stuff I didn't have before, like color, bullet holes, and I can actually see flame! This was quite a jump from integrated. I did not diable my original GFX card. Instead, I hooked up a second moniter to it and they run great together. I have only one complaint. There tends to be alot of choppyness when I look across a large field. Even when I disable the first moniter on the motherboard.Personally I blame it being a PCI GFX card. I was unable to use anything else though on account that My computer only had 3 PCI slots. Nothing else. And 2 of the PCI slots were already in use. By the way, I am talking about a Dell Demestion 3000 Desktop with HT technolgy and Pentium IV prossessor. AND ITS STILL CHOPPY!
So happy I bought another!
Pros: This card is unstoppable! I've owned it for 3 years now when it cost an arm and a leg, now the price is a third it used to be. It runs all the games I own on max settings! Does GFX manipulation programs like Vue 5 Infinite and Autodesk's Inventor like a pro.
Cons: I've had this card for 3 years and it could use a tad more frame rate on Starcraft 2 and Crysis. So I bought another today. I'll be SLI'ing these babies in a week.
Overall Review: Don't forget to get new drivers! It made a world of difference in Vue 5 Infinite and Starcraft 2. This card is the best thing I can find for the price. Buying two of these would equal what the best card out there is, for a third of the price. If you're looking for 'new stuffs' save your cash and get the same performance with 2 of these. I have never had a problem with EVGA. Ever. I swear by the stuff. Asus motherboards and cards have exploded on me.
Awsome Case
Pros: This case is beutiful. It's made of plastic which keeps the computer lightweight and much easier for transport. The fan on the side is the only lightup thing on the case other than the front, but that's a good thing considering I sleep next to it.
Cons: Consider buying a new Power supply. After I press the "on" button on the front, it will take between an hour and 3 hours before the computer will actually turn on. I'm getting a 600W really soon, because this is getting old fast.
Overall Review: Overall a really good case. This was my first build, and had a little trouble attaching the motherboard (probably because it was my first time) other than that, a lot of space to work with. Would buy again.
Good Card
Pros: This card is pretty good compared to my older computer which is forced to run on a PCI slot. This card was a gigantic leap for me in the world of Graphics and I would never take it back.
Cons: It slows down sometimes. (Nothing compared to basic PCI)
Overall Review: If you want a card that can play most of today's hotest games, and get past the ol' 2D games, get this card!
Amazing Board
Pros: This board not only has some really nice slots, but Asus packages this thing with so many extra USB's I could cry. My computer (wtih front two USB's) has a total of 10. Sata Drivers are also quite impressive. Highly reccomended even if you arn't fimiliar. (I wasn't) The instructions were so helpful. Made it a really easy first build.
Cons: What am I going to do with all these sweet extra cards?
Amazing Case
Pros: This was my first build and this case was so excellent. There is so much room for everything. The case also comes with these CD-rom covers, that will cover most of the random logos on your own, but the drives won't sit back far enough to fit in.
Cons: Overall? Nothing!
Overall Review: Amazing Shipping Newegg!
