Great niche product

Pros: Doesn't get bogged down doing transfers from multiple cards at once. The build quality is actually better than the images suggest. Writes at 10mb/s (max I've been able to get from my cards) without a hiccup. You'll probably max out the USB 2.0 bus before you max out the reader. Wish a USB 3.0 model existed.
Cons: The cord it came with is super short. Doesn't detect when microSD cards are inserted into the adapter -- you have to insert the adapter with the card already inside or it won't see it.
Overall Review: Does just about everything you could want a desktop SD card reader to do. It's definitely a niche product but if you need this many slots it's a godsend.
Now fits OCZ drives

Pros: This has always been a great hotswap rack, but I bought a new set a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised... They must have tweaked the design, because the OCZ SSDs I have no longer get stuck after you insert them. On my old ones you have to work on them to eject, but on the new ones it's smooth as silk.
Cons: The LEDs require a custom cable, the activity lights only light if the drive supports it.
Overall Review: It's nice when a company tweaks their design to fix problems rather than just shoveling their products onto market.
Very nice

Pros: Adds almost every expansion necessity in a single 5.25 bay.
Cons: The USB cord comes shoved into the back slot, and is a little difficult to remove. No instructions.
Overall Review: This device does everything it looks like it does very well. Even though I had some initial problems assembling it, it works great and looks nice in the 1U servers I installed it in.
great price, mediocre build quality.

Pros: Trayless, no screws, no mounting brackets to mix up uses oxford sata to FW chipset, compatible with booting ppc macs fast and inexpensive
Cons: weak plastic tabs holding the drives in, one of them broke, had to remove it. uses an inexplicable custom USB A to A cable to connect via USB rather than standard A to B cables. Not a big deal to me because I don't use the USB interface, but it could be a hassle to have to dig up a custom cable.
Overall Review: I've only used it in JBOD mode, so I can't comment on the RAID performance. Though you can hot-swap the drives, it causes both of them to momentarily disconnect while you do, even the one you're not switching; I'd recommend powering down completely before you do it just for safety. The niggling physical problems really bring down what could otherwise be a solid device. But I guess at this price they had to cut corners somewhere...
Works just like an SDHC, great price

Pros: Works great in all the devices I've tried it in, including USB readers, the slots on my Acer Aspire One AOA150 and my Pentax K200D. Does not display any issue when I try to format it (takes under 30 seconds on Mac OS X) and transfer speeds are on par with SDHC. It's possible to make bootable disks.
Cons: I haven't run into any, but it is foreseeable that since MMC is such an uncommon format that you'll hit the odd device that doesn't fully support it. While it should work anywhere an SDHC card works, it'd be a good idea to check that your device supports MMC Plus before buying.
Overall Review: MMC may be a rare format but this product is great for my purposes.
