SAMSUNG Slim 8X DVD±R DVD Burner 8X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 6X DVD+R DL 8X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 8X DVD-ROM 24X CD-R 24X CD-RW 24X CD-ROM Black EIDE/ATAPI Model SN-S082H

Pros: Well works pretty good, the bezel came right off, and my old bezel from my Hp Pavilion DV4000 fit perfect. Burns and plays dvds great.

Cons: For some reason the first time I install the drive in my laptop, it didn't detect it in the bios or windows, infact it wouldn't do anything. So I put it in my dell laptop, and it worked fine, so i thought well maybe it is the laptop, so I put in the drive from the dell which was a sony and it worked fine, switched back, and then it was working fine. I think what happened is that i pulled my old drive out while the computer was off, and install the new driver, which both are tsstcorp, it got confused because it thought my old drive was there or something, so might want to uninstall old drive if the same brand, in windows, and then install, or insert a differnt brand driver before installing.

SLOWEST RMA EVER

ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Well the board is okay except for the terrible cooling on the northbridge and southbridge

Cons: died after a week installed, northbridge and southbridge rediculously hot. RMA prcoess started MAY 17th, and as i type this supposedly it is being shipped back now for delivery on June 16. You have to admit, a month for RMA service is really bad, i ended up buy another board, being this was for a custom build for a customer, my customer would not want to wait 30 days for a computer to be built, nor would i allow that to happen. I most liekly have to keep or sell the rma board as, i don't really need it anymore. I had done an RMA for a smiliar board for BFG, they took 1 week to return a new one, and gave me a free t shirt. I kept checking ASUS repair status on their extremely slow website, that itself was a task, being there is no real direct way to find rma info. They said they were repairing the board for 2 1/2 weeks. Repairing what? I use to have a faith in ASUS, not so anymore, i'm just going to get gigabyte, bfg, and evega from now on.

Overall Review: if you bought this board, go find somone dumb enough to take it of your hands.

Pretty good case, worked for my solution

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Has pretty good ventalation. you can put 4 120mm fans on the case, and it comes with a 130mm exhaust on top. I was using this case for a server, and it worked out pretty good. I could mount 4 hard drives nicely, i liked how the drives were spaced out so airflow can go easily between them. The case quality is pretty good overall.

Cons: The front bezel is a little cheapish, but thats plastic for ya. I had a little trouble doing cable management, being the power supply was on the bottom, and cables kinda just went weird, the powersupply connecters where all 180 degrees of norm, so the cables had to be twisted up and such, but after a bit of labor, i was able to get the cables to an exceptable position. The case started making a rattling noise immediately, the PCI SLOT covers rattle, so i had to put a little peice of tap on each slot to stop the noise.

Overall Review: This is not a con, because it was never advertised with this feature. Honestly, I have 3 computers in my house, none of which have a floppy drive in them, and all three cases have a external 3.5 bay for them. I purchased this case not realizing there isn't even a bay for a floppy drive. I usually wouldn't care, but this was a server build for a customer, it is nice to have a floppy drive on a server sometimes, especially to setup raid drivers. But floppy is really our last line of defense these days. I could have took a flash drive and made it bootable, and put the drivers on it. But i just happen to have a usb floppy drive, so i used that. Newegg sells one for about $18 currently, so I would recommend an external usb floppy drive if you need that and you would like to use this case.

AWSOME PRODUCT!

D-Link DWL-G730AP High Speed Wireless Pocket Router/AP
D-Link DWL-G730AP High Speed Wireless Pocket Router/AP

Pros: I don't say this very often. But this is a totally perfect product. It works exactly how it was supposed to, easiest setup of a wireless bridge i have ever done. Small size is mind bending. Power over USB is GREAT!. Comes with a regular AC power too. Nice flat cat 6 cable. Alos has 3 mode features that all work perfectly. I'm using Client mode, but this would be great if you wanted to give access to the internet but not your network if you use router mode. AP mode works well also, very fast.

Cons: None. Maybe a nice rebate or lower price would be okay, but for what you get i'm not complaining.

Overall Review: I highly recommend this product to anyone wanted to use it for a bridge. I have a computer work bench area with not easy way of getting a wired network cable drop in there. THis works awsome, no drivers needed, and works everytime. Dlink hit a 10 on this one, it amazes me when a product actually functions like it is supposed to.

Oh by the way.

BFG Tech GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card BFGE98512GTXOCXE
BFG Tech GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card BFGE98512GTXOCXE

Pros: Card Performs great for being used.

Cons: I pruchased 2 cards, that were both in this used condition. BFG thinks just because they have a lifetime warranty on these, that they can sell them in this condition. If you call up to complain, they give you the ,"oh well it has a lifetime warranty so don't worrie about it" thats not the point, it is lieing to a customer about a product being new. You wouldn't go sell a car to someone and tell them it is brand new, no one has ever drove it to them, then wrap it up and deliver it after driving through all terrain course, and leaving it all dirty with mud all over ,and garbage inside, leaving it dirty and no longer in new condition. Just my addon to my last review as I ran out of space.

Overall Review: I recommend getting either EVGA, being they have the same warranty. Possibly XFX and or PNY. In that order. They all have the same cards, so really your buying the company and there service, which was the only thing BFG had going for me, until now. So Lifetime warranty with a company that actually gives your a new card is a bit more appealing.

To BFG or not to BFG, that is the question.

BFG Tech GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card BFGE98512GTXOCXE
BFG Tech GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card BFGE98512GTXOCXE

Pros: Well, I have always recommended and purchased BFG Technologies products for everything, their support and cusomer service is usually the best, cards perform great and usually have minimal problems with them in the past. I Will no longer be doing so, nor recommending anyone buy one of theird products ever again.

Cons: Well cards came in srink rapped packaging, when pull out of the cardbaord insert, i see the anti static bag is all wrinkled, the bag has been resealed, and closer immediate inspection of the cards show dirty finger prints and and deep scratch all over the card. As well as duty and dirt particles. When contacting BFG, the support rep was not really helpful, which is not usual, but then again it was a night person. They basically told me that BFG does not open any package, i'm the first person he has talked to that has had this problem. He said, " Sound like your reseller repacked these items" I find it highly unlikely that newegg would do that. Also after a few minutes he was getting annoyed with me, and was just like "what do you want me to do about it", if the cards don't work RMA them ,otherwise have a pleasant night, "click". I have really lost faith in BFG's prodcuts, although they offer a Lifetime warranty, i think they are using that as an excuse to pass of used cards.

Overall Review: CARDS do work and perform normal, but these cards are not new, even if noone ever used them, new condition is a product that has been untouched and has not visible wear on them. I am a technician, i've seen what used a new parts look like, a lot. I would say these cards were used in a computer for at lease a week or two, before someone sent them info a trade up, and then at which point I believe BFG repackaged them. The excuse that the QA dept inspects the cards before shipping is a lie, why would BFG have to open and reseale theird own packaging, when the get these cards from the NVIDIA Manufacture, they come in oem packaging in huge lots, then BFG puts stickers on them for branding, then packages them. Also if these cards were inspected by QA, that person must have been eating pizza with greasy finger prints, and must have dragged the cards about 5 to 10 feet down a concrete floor, then crushed the anti static bad and shoved the card back in. WHALA, NEW PRODUCT!
