update: ubuntu r8169 driver is buggy

Pros: price, features
Cons: Realtek r8169 ethernet chip. The ubuntu 11.10 driver for this chip has bugs.
Overall Review: you can get a working driver from here: https://launchpad.net/~leannogasawara/+archive/ppa
pretty good

Pros: Looks good, can fit a 5.25 inch DVD drive, price is reasonable
Cons: As other have mentioned, the power supply wires are really long considering the only need to run a few inches. Also, there is only one SATA power wire, so if you have 2 SATA drives, you;ll need a connector which adds even more wires. Weird PCI card blank which I gave up trying to reinstall.
Overall Review: on the balance, pretty good for what it is.
I am linux only now so this isn't a perk for me

Pros: N/A
Cons: Doesn't run on Linux?
Overall Review: I suppose I should download it anyway since I paid for it
fast, quiet

Pros: plenty fast enough for anything I do relatively low power so the fans noise is minimal
Cons: Price is pretty high compared to the 2700 when they were being phased out, about 50% more money for 20% more performance, but the 2700s are long gone now.
Overall Review: Excellent chip priced a little too high
Works as expected

Pros: Arrived promptly, worked out of the box, plenty fast enough
Cons: none
Overall Review: No way to know how long it will last, but it is working well right now
Possibly a dud

Pros: Lights come on and fan spins when powered on
Cons: Doesn't post - no video with either a AMD2200G with onboard graphics, or with Ryzen 2700 and 2 different PCIe video cards.
Overall Review: Appears to be well made, but simply doesn't seem to work.
