Great deal

Pros: As cards go, it runs cool even with the silent cooler (42c idle, 62c after gaming for half an hour). I bought the xfx low profile kit and it fits great in my slim case. I previously just had the 690g onboard graphics, with vista gaming index of 3.0. This thing started at 4.1, and with a simple memory overclock, thanks to the catalyst overdrive, I got it up to 4.3. Still not a screamer, but a ton smoother. I'm playing COD2 on 1280x800 with medium settings and it runs a lot smoother than previously, when it was on lower resolution and lower settings. For it's price, it is a great deal. I'm curious how hybrid crossfire would perform, and how the newer games would be.
Cons: None. The fanless cooler gets really hot, I thought the card might be overheating, but ATI catalyst says its temp only got up to 62c or so, which is still acceptable (especially with no noise).

If you only had to look at it, then...

Pros: It does look nice, not some freaky-looking neon thing. Nice finish, although a tiny part was chipped out of the box. 400W power supply, a good amount for your non-gaming desktop.
Cons: A pretty cheap case overall. The screws that it included were not the same diameter as some of the holes (to mount the motherboard). Sometimes they would catch, other times the holes were too big. The measurements weren't accurate; I tried installing a pci-express graphics card, and before it could lock in to the board, it's L-bracket was already colliding with the bay cover (hard to explain, but I had to kind of mutilate the bay cover where the L-brackets are fastened with screws so that the card would insert fully). Not very consistent or solid design. No wonder there was a rebate...
Overall Review: Pay a little more and get something that is solid, without the cheapness that causes problems.
Going extra mile with rebate

Pros: I don't game; I just wanted a card to play HD in any format without a hitch. This card does it, much better than the 780G northbridge on my Dell Inspiron 546. But the rebate is fantastic. MSI should be given props for their rebate process. I just got an email from them today informing me they received my rebate submission. I clicked the link, and they actually went to the length to scan my rebate docs and post them on the rebate tracking page. Wasn't expecting this--just expecting to get my rebate, but now I know that it's coming soon, because they have my documents and I selected the fast processing option. Well done
Cons: I ideally wanted a fanless card, but the 7/4 shell shocker deal was too good. The fan is okay, doesn't whine and isn't loud, but it is the most audible fan in my otherwise quiet Dell system. But I tried a fanless 5450 card last year that gave me tons of issues, and this card installed easily, and hasn't given me a single problem. Can't complain.
Overall Review: For the gamers' info, I tried the Call of Duty 2 demo (not the most recent title, but those looking to game won't be getting this card), and this card played it at 1680x1050, full settings, without dropping frames. Impressive from a little card. AMD Phenom II X3 710 2.6 4GB Gskill 800MHz Windows 7 64
1 subwoofer driver, 1 passive radiator

Pros: To those that see what looks like 2 subwoofer speakers in the sub box and are confused, see other thoughts...
Cons: See other thoughts...
Overall Review: The sub box has 1 active subwoofer driver, and 1 passive radiator. There are many different ways to build a sub, and most are either sealed boxes with one driver, or ported boxes with one driver (these have a tube). Ported boxes achieve lower bass, but they require more box volume and bigger subwoofer boxes. To achieve ported-like bass in a smaller box, sometimes passive radiators are used. From the outside, this looks like another speaker, but it actually just radiates the backwaves from the active subwoofer driver. When the sub pushes out, bass comes from the active driver. When the sub driver pulls inward, the force pushes the passive radiator outward, and bass comes from the passive radiator. Hopefully this explains what looks like 2 subwoofer speakers on the side of the box.
Nice little case

Pros: Great looking case. Black and silver, nothing too fancy. The spring-loaded bay doors on the fronts work well. I got this case to replace a similar one that only had a 250 watt power supply. The 300 is nice. Great look.
Cons: The 80mm top fan is much louder than "whisper quiet." If it was the fan noise coming from a bigger system that needed to move a lot of air, it would be more understandable. But this case is built for smaller systems that don't put out tons of heat, but the fan is loud and doesn't seem to be variable. I bought another 80mm fan, it's on the way, hopefully it will be more quiet.
Works in Core Duo Macbook

Pros: Apple has some great DIY instructions on their website. Replaced the meager 60gb hard drive in my Core Duo Macbook, and have since installed leopard.
Cons: None so far. Really simple install
Overall Review: newegg is great
