have a Dell Dimension 5150 Intel Dual core 2.66 , PIC-X 2.0 running 1 IDE DVD 1 IDE hard drive 1 SATA hard drive and a creative sound card 305 watt power supply 12 volt rail is 25 watts think I'll have any problems running this card ?

This is a basic card. We use this card for all of our standard pcs at work. If you had something that needed extra power then maybe bit I feel that you should have no issues.

Will this card work with an (older HP) AMD equipped, Windows XP Media Center computer?

Hi there! Let me put it this way. This is my second card, for a Windows 7 computer. The first was for an old XP that I still use, and can't seem to let it go. On both systems, it was not only fine, it was awesome! No problems whatsoever. If you would like to give it a try, go right ahead. If it does not meet your needs, you can return it to Newegg, within a specific amount of time. They have the fairest system I think. Keep me posted!

I have a Dell Inspiron 530S 2.5Ghz dual core 4gb memory. Dell lists power supply at 250w. This card states it requires 400w min. 
Some other cards with similar specs do not list a PS min. I do not game, just videos and movie streaming.
Will I have a problem running this card?

It is risky to run equipment on a power supply that cannot supply enough power.  If you are lucky, your motherboard will simply reboot during a drop in power.  If you are not lucky during that same drop in power, your motherboard may be damaged beyond repair.  The graphics card you inquired about is a good low-cost investment and it will work well for videos and streaming.  You should also look for a low-cost solution to the power supply problem.  Newegg  has many inexpensive power supplies to choose from.  I would upgrade the power supply without hesitation.  250W is very low power for modern equipment.

Yes, you can use PCI express 2.1 video card in PCI express 3.0 slot, but you should check with your motherboard manufacturer. Sometimes bios upgrade may be necessary

I've been running MSI Radeon model cards now for just over a decade without any real problems and have this model card in one of the two custom builds here.

Typically most games will run without any issues while there are a few that require a higher model card due to the demands those particular games place for graphics. These newer cards in the last few years however with a 1tb to 2tb of graphics memory handle most needs however.

You would take off the vga ribbon and unscrew the screws on the outer plate and then use the included low profile bracket/plate.

I have an 'Acer Aspire AX1920-ER20P' and need a short card that will fit into my casing (it is a mini laptop type case). The full size brackets will not fit. I was told that this card comes with a short bracket that I can use instead and also buy a DVI To VGA Adapter to allow for a VGA connection. DOES this card come with the shorter bracket?

If you look at the last picture it shows the package contents. It comes with two lo-profile brackets. You remove the full profile bracket and replace it with the dvi and hdmi lo-profile bracket. And if you have a an empty expansion slot you can use the included vga lo-profile bracket and install it beside the 6450 as the cards vga port is connected by a flexible ribbon cable to the video card. There would then be no need to buy the dvi to vga adapter.

Will this video card work with a Dell 9200 desktop running Windows 7? What is the power supply requirements/

Specifications state "Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply" but a 250-300 watt should work as long as there are not too many other demands on your power supply "The Radeon HD 6450 is rated to idle at 9 Watts and under load should pull around 27 Watts". The card only draws 27watts max, so as long as you bios and motherboard play nice, it should work with a stock power supply.
