Pros: Works great with medisonic esata card bundle. My dell dimension 8400 3.6g with hyperthreading recognized it with absolutely no problem. Win 7 ultimate

Cons: Will not recognize hard drives with information on them already. You must use the disk management tool in the control panel to initialize NEW or Already formatted hard drives. ANY EXISTING INFORMATION WILL BE LOST.

Overall Review: All together a great expansion option for the price. I managed to get it with the mediasonic esata card for under 80 bucks but would have been worth 100 easy. Not using this as a RAID just as (Jaob) just a bunch of disks. 3t , 2t , and a 1.5 terabyte right now

Cons: IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER COMPUTER MAKE SURE YOUR BIOS WILL RECOGNIZE THE ENTIRE DRIVE. i HAVE A DELL 8400 AND CAN ONLY USE 2 OF 3 GIGS. SEAGATE HAS SOFTWARE TO ALLOW YOU TO USE THE ENTIRE DRIVE BUT THE LAST GIG IS ESSENTIALLY UNUSEABLE. VERY SLOW. ALSO IF YOUR USING IT AS A SLAVE DRIVE IF YOUR MAIN DRIVE DIES YOU WILL LOSE ALL INFORMATION AS A NEW INSTALL NEEDS TO HAVE SEAGATES SPFTWARE INSTALLED AGAIN AND WIPES THE DRIVE
