Awesome
Pros: Very Very fast, for 3D rendering in Maya and other software apps. Running: DangerDen DD SR-2 expansion case evga SR-2 Intel Xeon's 5690 @ 4.3 ghz 48 gigs of CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT @ 2000 mhz nvidia quadro 6000 1200w CORSAIR
Cons: Its very large, which limits your desision in what case you want to buy.
So far im very happy with this product
Pros: - Its housing my SR-2 mortarboard, and thats all I care about. - Comes with all the screws and everything for mounting all your equipment. - Comes with instructions that are easy to understand. - It was very well packaged. - Everything just works as intended without any issues. - Read some complaints about the motherboard tray as a lot of flex and there is some flex but once the board was on there was no issues. - Read some issues with the magnets being to weak to keep things shut however I seem to have no issues with that so far. everything is working well for me out of the box. - The case fans are of high end quality.
Cons: - They want me to write a con, and the only real con is the size of this case, but if you are in the market to buy a case of this size the you know this is not a con. - Maybe the price but again you get a lot for what you are buying.
Overall Review: This case is really meant for extreme builds so placing a ATX motherboard within this case might be over kill. But if you plan to have everything water cooled and have enough room to place everything in there then this case is a maybe for you.
Great so far
Pros: Very fast, do alot of design work, and I cant complain, Opens Photoshop in 1 second, opens Aftereffects in 3 to 4 seconds. Fast boot times.
Cons: I know that its new tech but the price is somewhat too high for the issues that others seem to be having...
Overall Review: My computer build Motherboard: Evga SR-2 Processor: Intell Xeon 5690 @ 4.5 ghz 3x water loop system Memory: Corsair memory dominator gt 48 gigs Video Card: Quadro 6000 6 gig PSU: Corsair 1200 watt Main Hard drive: OCZ Vertex 3 Solid State 120 gig Back up drives: 4x Seagate 3t
First SSD
Pros: So Far its much faster the my WestDigital Rator 10,000 RPM drive. Once the bios is loaded and windows screen appears there only a few seconds wait before windows 7 is up and running. I do alot of digital 3D work so all my software packages, Maya, mudbox, zbrush, Photoshop ext, open up in just 1 to 2 seconds. Awesome drive.
Cons: None at the moment
Highly recomended memory
Pros: Fast memory, I have owned the 4 gig kit for about a month and have had zero issues with this kit.
Cons: The 1600 FSB is not set up for this memory nor is the 1.8v setting so you have got to understand alittle about what your doing in the BIOS to get this kit to run 1600 FBS
Overall Review: One thing before buying this kit, understand the operating system that you are using, such as 32 bit or 64 bit windows operating systems. 32 bit windows will not use all 4 gigs of this kit. 64bit window however will.
