use it in SLI

PNY GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCG96512GXEB
PNY GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCG96512GXEB

Pros: I built a SLI system using this video card and an ECS with the silent cooler. A great advantage of the new SLI systems is that you don't have to have identical cards, you just need to have 2 of the same series with the same core speeds. Having 2 9600 GT's in SLI is faster and gives more frame rates than a high priced top of the end cards.

Cons: This card gets hot under a load, so I would download the NVIDIA control panel and set the fan speeds by yourself and it will keep these cards cooler.

Overall Review: Cards are used in a system with an Asrock 750i motherboard with an AMD 5400 X2 and 2 gigs of OCZ memory. The 9600 GT'S are the way to go especially in SLI they really perform very well for a low end card.

Best deal for the money

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ955FBGMBOX
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ955FBGMBOX

Pros: Bought this CPU with a new motherboard and upgraded from a 9600 BE and this thing beats the pants off my 9600 and cost me me less money. It runs cool on stock cooler, but i have not tried to overclock it yet. Several claim this CPU overclocks well I will see in coming months. Runs all games with no issues and increased my frame rates just by swapping CPU. A MUST OWN!!!!

Cons: None

Great Card 4 the Money

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100283L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100283L

Pros: Came in 3 days and was easy to install. I did go to ATI website and download newest drivers that just came out though. Card is way smaller than the 9600 GT it replaced and is much more quiet. It doubled my frame rates using Furmark. It only requires 1 6 pin connector and plays Black Ops on high settings without any lag.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: I have this card in a system with an Asrock 785 GX Motherboard, 2 Gigs OCZ 1066 DDR 2, and a Phenom 955 BE and it screams. I will be looking to Cross Fire this card in coming months.

OK for the money.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ - Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane Dual-Core 2.8 GHz Socket AM2 65W Processor - ADO5400DOBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ - Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane Dual-Core 2.8 GHz Socket AM2 65W Processor - ADO5400DOBOX

Pros: The price is what sold me but now you can get a 6000X2 for what I paid for this 5400. As others have said the stock cooler is not very good and it will get hot fast even under a moderate load. I have done some minor overclocking and it stays very stable.

Cons: It gets very hot quickly. If you buy I would recommend an aftermarket cooler to keep the temps. down.

Overall Review: Used this to build an upgrade from my aging opteron 939 system I had. I used the cooler from my Opteron which had a bigger heat sink with heat pipes built in and the system stays about 15 degrees cooler than the heat sink and fan that came with it.

Good Deal

ASRock K10N750SLI-110dB AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock K10N750SLI-110dB AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: This motherboard is hard to beat for the price. It does everything higher priced boards do for less money. This was 8th build using an Asrock motherboard and I have never had any problems with them. Overclocking is easy and can be done with included software. Buy it! You won't be disaapointed.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Built an SLI sytem using this motherboard a AMD 5400 X2 and 2 gigs of OCZ 8500 ram, with 2 Nvidia 9600 GT's. This was an upgrade froman aging 939 opteron 165 setup. This thing thing really flies and the performance with the SLI is assume.

Good deal for the money!!

TRENDnet TEW-637AP Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader 802.11b/g/n and 802.11e up to 300 Mbps
TRENDnet TEW-637AP Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader 802.11b/g/n and 802.11e up to 300 Mbps

Pros: This unit is very small and will fit almost anywhere. It was easy to install and locate as long as your install your network device first. I had a Lynksys system that kept slowing down all the time and never would stay @ 54 mps speed. I have not been able to get the full 300 mbs out of this but it pulls a steady 137-157 which is still better than any wireless G set-up and far cheaper than I paid for the Linksys.

Cons: Doesn't get to the full speed of 300 mbs but that may also be the Encore USB device.

Overall Review: Ordered this on Sunday afternoon and it arrived Wednesday before 9 am. New Egg Rocks!
