Amazing workhorse!

MSI Mech Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RX 6700 XT MECH 2X 12G
MSI Mech Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RX 6700 XT MECH 2X 12G

Pros: Stays nice and cool, in my system even with my more demanding VR games it hangs out in the 50-56 Celsius range (Im running a Valve Index at 120hz on highest graphics settings for reference). The highest power draw Ive reached under heavy load was around 185 watts The 12 GB of VRAM is able to run even the most demanding games (looking at you Metro Exodus) at stable fps The current price is pretty competitive for what you get, especially with what you get out of the box in clock speeds This card is surprisingly stable compared to its predecessor the 5700XT, in my experience the drivers rarely crash under low load

Cons: The driver software could use a bit of work, especially with compatibility in terms of the latest windows updates Decently power hungry at 230 watts, but will generally not hit that cap even under heavy load. This card performs best when using an 850 watt PSU depending on system configuration.

Overall Review: This is an amazing GPU! I upgraded from a GTX 1080 and the performance upgrade is pretty noticeable, especially in VR. 12 GB of VRAM is a decent step up from 8 GB. Windows 10 users: if you are installing this as an upgrade in a built PC, be aware that installing the latest optional quality update (May 2022) will possibly corrupt the BootMGR system file. I do not know how it will affect fresh installs. This issue can affects users with SSDs of both types and SATA drives.

Excellent Board (and customer service)!

ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PRO (WiFi 6) AMD AM4 (3rd Gen Ryzen ATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, 2.5Gb LAN, BIOS Flashback, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header and Aura Sync)
ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PRO (WiFi 6) AMD AM4 (3rd Gen Ryzen ATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, 2.5Gb LAN, BIOS Flashback, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header and Aura Sync)

Pros: Features: this board offers a lot for its price, including the embedded WiFi 6E chip. Customer service: the particular board i had gotten turned out to be defective, but their repair center was surprisingly quick to find and repair the issue, and they shipped the board back to me within a week of it arriving at the repair center.

Cons: Factory defects: As seen in other reviews, the entire TUF X570 line has a few issues you may encounter when buying: LAN hardware not working or faulty front panel headers.

Overall Review: I had purchased this board in early July and I had unfortunately gotten a defective board, with the defect being faulty front panel power headers. This led to an RMA after registering the board for the extended product warranty on ASUS's website. Luckily the issue was fixable and they were swift to fix the issue and then send it back to me within a week, which impressed me as RMAs can take at least 2 weeks typically. 3 weeks later after purchase and post-RMA it now sits in my machine and works perfectly fine. This excellent customer service experience is why I opted to give this a favorable review instead of the 1 star review I originally would have written.

Great monitor, but has a few annoyances

SAMSUNG Odyssey G7 LC32G75TQSNXZA 32" (31.5" Viewable) QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 1ms GTG 240Hz, HDMI 2xDisplayPort, USB, G-Sync Compatible, Pivot, Swivel, Height Adjust Curved Gaming Monitor
SAMSUNG Odyssey G7 LC32G75TQSNXZA 32" (31.5" Viewable) QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 1ms GTG 240Hz, HDMI 2xDisplayPort, USB, G-Sync Compatible, Pivot, Swivel, Height Adjust Curved Gaming Monitor

Pros: High refresh rate works nice and stable even on 1440p HDR is a major improvement with color accuracy and saturation Freesync is stable with every game I have tested it with, including infamously demanding games such as Ark Survival Evolved

Cons: warranty: I do not know if it is just me having this issue, but I have been unable to register my monitor for the manufacturer's warranty on my Samsung account, and I have not received any help for 2 weeks after talking to customer support on their website. This is the main reason I am demoting it to 4 stars.

Overall Review: I bought this monitor during the discount period Samsung was running on it, and overall I am satisfied with the product. One thing I personally think would be a good addition is including a Displayport cable that has latching on it to ensure a snug and secure connection over the one included with the monitor.

Awesome!

MSI GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support ATX Video Card GTX 1080 GAMING 8G
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support ATX Video Card GTX 1080 GAMING 8G

Pros: Very power efficient for its performance level, using 180 watts for total power consumption under load if not overclocked A major improvement over the 980 and 980Ti in both performance and power/cooling efficiency Very easy to install and set up

Cons: Although the card's height is lower than previous generations, it is slightly longer, so a mid-size case at minimum would be recommended to use this card

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this product to others. It's just too awesome to not do it!
