What bios version do this ship with? Will it work with Zen 3 cpu's with the current shipping bios?

Ryzen non-graphics 3000 series CPUs are not listed on the QVL.  Do Ryzen 3000 series CPUs (non-APU versions) work with this motherboard?

Yes the 3000 and new 5000 series CPUs (non-APU versions) will work on this motherboard but you will have to install a video card into the PCI Express slot and hook your monitor to the video card as this motherboard does not have onboard graphics. Don't buy a AMD CPU with integrated graphics; you can get twice the performance buy buying a GTX 1050 ti video card. If you are on a budget and don't want to spend a lot of money on a graphics card then you buy a used GTX 750 ti card; it will still be about 50% faster than the integrated graphics on the AMD CPUs.  If it was me and I didn't want to spend too much on a video card, I'd buy either a new MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti DirectX 12 GTX 1050 Ti GAMING X 4G 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready ATX Video Card or a used ASUS GEFORCE GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5 OC EDITION - DUAL FAN GRAPHICS CARD. The 1060 is about 40% faster than a 1050 ti . A used 1060 will cost about the same as new 1050 ti. I bought a used ASUS GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5 OC Dual fan and couldn't be happier with it; it is very quiet as the fans don't spin until  needed and it is a vey nice looking white color.
