Put the ram in black slots

Pros: great oc
Cons: see below
Overall Review: You have to put your 2 sticks of ram into the black slots to get system to boot up at all. It is stated as so in the manual. Otherwise, fans will run, but no video signal, no bios, nothing. It will apear to be a faulty mobo, but it isnt. Save yourself the phone call to tech and a rma. I believe many people have seen this problem, as I did.
Not happy

Pros: Backplate looks cool.
Cons: Unstable at stock speeds.
Overall Review: I bought this card here, and sent in upc for rebate, big mistake. Card locks up while gaming, newegg wouldn't take back because upc was gone. Sent to evga. I had to pay the $17 shipping, insurance. So much for the rebate money. They sent me a rma card that looked used, and it locks up also on multiple programs and pc's. I reinstall my 8800gtx , all ok
Fail

Pros: Looks nice, nice price.
Cons: Won't oc at all.
Overall Review: Cant get any oc from this mobo and a 2500k. Runs fine at default settings and speeds. I didnt buy a "k" cpu, and this mobo to run everything stock. I will keep trying a few more days, then return time.
very nice

Pros: Cool, quiet, overclocks like crazy. Cheap.
Cons: 768mb
Overall Review: Single card at 850/4000 on a i5 750 at 3.8ghz, 4gb, scores 21,938 at default settings on 3dmark06. This card at these settings, was the same performance as my hd 5850 at 800/4200 speeds.
ok, but expensive and hot

Pros: direct x 11
Cons: hot or loud, you choose
Overall Review: Had 3 of these cards to try out. They run hot if fan left on auto. They run loud if you put fan at anything above 55%. You get to pick your poison. I got rid of all 3. The ATI 5850 is the best deal at $300, bar none. Almost as fast, at least $50 cheaper, quieter, much cooler.
pretty nice

Pros: direct x 11
Cons: price, temps or noise
Overall Review: I have this card and a hd 5850. I have oc'ed both cards, and they are very close in performance. The 470 is a bit faster. The card does run 20C hotter than the 5850. The fan runs up to 55% on auto, which is as fast as you will want it to go, unless you like listening to a fan blow. Anything over 55% is loud, other guy, LOL at 100% fan. That is crazy loud! I have a antec 900 case also.
