Pros: The first 2 worked
Cons: bought this 10-17-17 to have on hand for anther future build. First thought it was the HD so i plug HD in directly to the mother board, the HD worked great. It died one week after the build.
Pros: It works great
Cons: Bought in on 7-12-17 Didn't get a chance to install it for 6 weeks, past the return time allowed.
When I plugged it in for the first time no touch screen completely black. I was able to access it
using the IP address to make any changes needed. It's been working just fine
Pros: Built 2 workstations using these boards in the first part of September. Both builds went smooth and are working great.
Overall Review: Has anyone else ever noticed that when a board has great reviews it is always discontinued and replaced with a new version that gets bad reviews. This seems to happen not only boards but most items.
I truly believe the quality of all PC parts has gone down hill over the last few years.
Pros: It's a good looking case with plenty of room. Should be able to keep your components cool with all the fans.Used it as for a sever.
Cons: I installed a 550w power supply. Had to install it upside down because the cooling vent on the bottom of the case was to small, covered up 1/3 of the fan on the power supply.
Pros: This is my 4th solid state drive, they have all worked great.
Overall Review: The first two I bought were the 530 model that came with a mounting bracket the 535 does not. So check the drive you want to order, you may have to order a bracket.
Pros: I have bought a number of HP printers 1015 through 1020 series from NE They have all been great.
Cons: This vendor must be nuts. The price is crazy for a discontinued model. My records show I bought several of these back in 06
for $120 ea
Overall Review: 5 eggs Newegg
Double 0 eggs for this vendor.
Pros: Bought it on 6/19/14 It's been running 24/7 on a server,
not one problem.
Pros: I have built 4 office work stations in the last three months using these. Not one issue with any of them. For the money they are hard to beat for a 450W.
Overall Review: The cabels are long enough, which is great with most of the new PC cases going with the power supply spot in the bottom of the case, which I find rather stupid when you have to run most cables over the entire board to plug in the processor power on the very top of the board. Not to mention what if you have 2 vid cards in.
Pros: Built two units this weekend with XP Pro for our office, every thing went great.
Infact this board was one of the fastest installation I've
ever had. After the first pc was finished with all the up dates etc. I cloned the second HD wth Acronis and stuck it into the second pc. One thing to remember you have to change the Win code license on the second unit and activate it, saved alot of time.
Pros: The build went fast and flawless. So far no problems at all.
Works like it should. Not bad for an older board that came out the second Q of 2010
Overall Review: Built an office workstation on 2/26/12 to be used heavily 9/10
hrs per day.
4 gb ripjaws 10666cl8d-4gbrm
Pros: Built a new one for internet use only at the office on 10-10-11. With Win7 you can dissable the network without dissabling the internet. This allows internet usage without worrying about viruses etc getting into your network sys.
It's been running 24-7 since then, not one problem.
Pros: After setting it up I gave it a very good work out at my sons wedding. The pics were as good as alot more expensive cameras used there.
Pros: This is my second build with this board. Fired right up and never looked back.
Overall Review: The first bulid was in March of 2010 Still running strong with the first level of auto oc.
Pros: I bought this for a worker that has carpal tunnel. She loves it. It's also great for limited desk space. Other mice are like trying to heard chickens down the road.
Overall Review: I've personally used these since the mid 90's. Once you get used to it you'l wonder why you waited so long to get one. I already have requests to buy more for others in the office
Pros: This is the 3rd unit I put together using this board for the office and as before not one problem. They make great office PCS.
Overall Review: We use Biostars most of the time. As a rule we've found that Biostars seem to stand up better than other brands that we've tried. Right now we still have 3 units that where put into service in 2003/2004, now that's what I call getting your $$$ worth.
Pros: Assembled 2 units for the office on 7-20 using XP Pro SP3
Not on problem. They have been runnig 8/10 hrs a day since.
Overall Review: HI Tech Wannabes. I ejoy reading the reviews, sometimes it's better than reading the comics in the newspaper. I've been in the business since the early 90s and I can't remember the last time or ever remembering getting srews with a mb, or the board didn't have this or didn't that. It's called read the specs, do your homework fist before you give a bad rating.
Pros: It works great.
Cons: I don't normally OC, NE needs to change there specs on this mb. I bought DDR3 1600, to get it to run at 1600 you have to OC. I should have check Biostar web site first.
Overall Review: We have used many Biostar boards for many years and have had to RMA only 1 since 2003.
Cons: DOA, Cpu and system fans all turn on nothing else - no bios. Tried all the usual - nothing.
Overall Review: Replaced it with a ASROCK board using the same other parts, all is well.
Pros: Built two pc's on 11/19/08. Very easy set up, not one
problem with either both still running strong.
Pros: Bought 2 units for the office on 9/22/08, run both 8+ hours a day. Not one problem with either. Surprisingly for the money the quality of the picture is better than some more expensive ones I've seen.
Pros: My wife loves this case, she cant wait to get it to her office. Guys Valentines Days is coming, you will be a winner if you use this case.
Cons: Not all CD drives may not fit. I used a Sony that had it's name plate sticking out on the front of the drive. This problem stops you from closing the drop down door all the way. Luckily the Sony name plate was just a stick on kind, just peeled it off.
Pros: Built a file server using Windows Server 2003 on 8/15/07. It has been running 24-7 since, not one problem.
Cons: Ordered two boards 1 month apsrt. The first one no problems, the second board acted funny during os installation, the next day I installed MS Office and shut down. After shutting down it rebooted by it self and cotinued to do this at shut down until I turned off power supply. Tried every trick in the book and narrowed it down to the board including a different case.
Pros: Built a new server on 8/10/07. Very easy set up right out of the box. It has been running 24/7 without one problem.
Cons: Odd location of processor, doesn't line up with side air vent on the case
Overall Review: Server 2003, Xeon 3050, 4GB Kingston mem, 2 Seagate ES 320 hard drives, LG DVD burner, removable hard drive case enabling hot swapping the second hard drive so I can take data files home nightly. Highly recommend this setup.
Pros: We have 14 units in the law office, all with heavy use. No failures yet in over a yr.
