Does this support a SSD disk ?

The standard ones that connect with SATA connections should be fine as it has SATA 6GB/s ports. I have a SAMSUNG 840 EVO 250GB connected to mine and it works great. It doesn't support the fancy new M.2 SSDs though (No M.2 port/slot). Not sure about ones that plug into PCI Express slots on the motherboard though. I've never messed with those, but being a micro ATX board, most people buy those for small size and lower price reasons, and I don't believe PCI Express SSDs are very cheap, at least not compared to the much more common SATA SSDs, and the SATA ones are pretty small anyways. Plus since this board is Micro ATX it only gives you one PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot and two PCI Express x1 slots, and those will fill up quickly, especially if you're going to use any type of discrete graphics card or other add-on cards. So I'd say it's just best just to use the SATA ports for SSDs on this motherboard. But the short answer to your question? Yes, it supports SSDs.

All Gigabyte intel boards going back to H61 chipset are fully Windows 10 compliant, (according to gigabyte web-site.)

Question 3

Is this board Rev 1.0 or Rev 1.1?

The board shown is Rev. 1.0. If you go to Gigabytes website, the board has been revised to 1.1 and is identical, except the 4 aluminum audio capacitors on the corner have been replace with gold-colored, electrolytic capacitors, meant for cleaner audio output for gaming. Gigabyte has updated all newer gaming motherboards to these type of capacitors as well, because they're supposed to improve sound quality quite a bit. (although aluminum capacitors would tend to last longer.) Both boards use the same bios, and support overclocking. My config is: Rev 1.0,  i7- 4790K 4.0 Ghz, 16GB (max RAM @ 1600mhz)). This also works perfectly as a hackintosh board. Very happy with this product. Would buy it again. Best board for the buck.

Question 4

I intend to use this board with Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54460 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Model:BX80646I54460)  and was wondering how many simultaneous displays can this drive without using an add on card?

I haven't checked it personally, but it should be able to support three at once, as long as they each have a different jack (One VGA, one DVI, one HDMI)

How many fan headers?

Mine (Rev 1.0) has two, but you can always buy a fan splitter cable. If you split a PWM fan(s), you must get a cable that is wired properly to omit the 4th wire on the second, because only one fan can be used to control and monitor speed.

Is this board Linux compatible?  Ide like to use Mint 17.
