Pros: It is a very good monitor that i purchassed so that i could run just an HDMI cable to the monitor and then output the audio channel from the hdmi (via the headphone port) to my stereo speakers.. which works VERY well!
I am able to have a monitor/speaker and wireless keyboard and mouse in another room than my actual computer by just running one ethernet cable (HDMI over Ethernet extension)
Cons: I recieved this refurbished monitor with a stuck pixel in the upper left middle of the screen... and it is bright red which stands out terribly as opposed to a black "dead" pixel...
Overall Review: QC on these refurbs really needs to be upped... and i HATE to process of doing RMAs... it is such a hassle when the product should have been working from the beginning. =/
Pros: Great looking and feeling keyboard... the light ONLY lights up the letters on the buttons and not behind them, which is great.
Cons: After about 3 weeks my down arrow broke on the keyboard... and whenever you press it it comes out.. the clips that held it in broke somehow... same happened with my backspace =/ really disappointing
Overall Review: i think razer will replace the keyboard if i send it in.. i called them about it... but then i wont have a keyboard for a week or so. =/
Pros: pretty! works!
Overall Review: a little more purple than blue but very pretty
Pros: Amazing color, unique cd drive system, small, cute, plenty of room for a full ATX motherboard,
Cons: The blue circular light in the front gets old and it didn't match my color.
Overall Review: I prefer the glossy black finish on the front without the blue light...I disconnected the light. Simple fix.
I was able to perfectly fit a Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120 mm heatsink/fan after removing the air funnel. Tight fit, but perfect.
Pros: nice glossy black finish... cheap/reliable.... plenty of connectors
Cons: doesnt take out my trash
Overall Review: good buy for a budget build
Pros: These B3 releases of the phenoms are amazing compared to the B2, i was able to get this phenom clocked up to 3.2 ghz on stock voltage and on air! They can also easily hit around 3.4-3.5 ghz on water cooling. my 3dmark06 score is around 4600 with this chip, AWESOME for AMD! Great buy if you have an am2+ board.
Overall Review: by the way these 65nm B3s are clocking... i cant wait for the 45nm's later on this year. good job AMD
Pros: overall BEST 790fx board you can get for you money... if you have a little more money to spend i would recommend the DFI M2R-790fx basically same board with much more features and better power management (digital as op[posed to analogue). if you are considering crossfire or high end overclocking and/or gaming GET THIS BOARD! you will not regret it.
Cons: to the guy below me... the board DOES support 1066mhz ram, the mhz of ram that the am2+ boards support IS NOT governed by the board but by the processor you use with the board, if you use a x2 dual core you will max out at 800 mhz ram and a Quad core maxes out at 1066 mhz ram... do some research before you post in ignorance. Newegg should also post more detail as well (ALL am2+ boards work that way... and Newegg needs to list them all as 800mhz and then also post them as 1066mhz if you have a quad)
Overall Review: awesome board, looks great in a windowed case, has amazing over clocking features (almost overwhelming... lol) supports tri-fire perfectly (im running 3 hd3870s) you just need to make sure you plug in the mini molex power input connectors above and below the middle pci-express slot. or you will have some tri-fire underpowered problems.
Pros: i originally bought this card because i wanted to run 3-way crossfire on my DFI 790fx-m2rs motherboard and my midtower case wouldnt allow a dual slot cooler on my bottom slot... i wasnt expecting much because it was a single slotter... but it stays ALOT cooler than i expected, i was sitting around 38 idle and never went over 50 when playing cod4. great choice if you need a single slot card.
Pros: The 3870x2 is the performance of 2 crossfired cards on one card. amazing 3dmark06 performance in crossfirex via 8.3 drivers (only on vista).
Cons: the guy below titled "What Goin On" has no idea what he is talking about regarding the youtube videos... all the computers in my schools library have the same problem as well as my compuetr at home using an 8800... it gives a half white half grey picture... its youtubes fault with thier new flash encryption they switched too... also crysis DOES NOT SUPPORT CROSSFIRE... the flashing and other glitches you see are because the x2 card is 2 crussfired 3870 gpus... you need to download the crysis crossfire/sli patch (DO SOME RESEARCH)
Overall Review: overall GREAT card, and top performer until nvidia releases thier own beast (the 9800x2) until the day... this card is the best of the best =)
Pros: i replace my 550w ULTRA modular psu with this one and even tho this isnt modular... it looks awesome! and it has been powering my 2900s in crossfire perfectly. i love the led changing button on the back. also the blue cable mesh loos really cool with my blue led lit case. i love apevia (same company that made my case =P)
Cons: only con i can think of is the back of the psu (where the switch and the led button is) doesnt fit right with the case im using (Apevia X-PLORER) the led button is half covered (still pressable) and some screws are in the way of the metal on the case. (i just modified the case and it was all good)
Overall Review: i really like the windows on this case... my friends think it looks awesome and adds a nice touch. awesome product and a must have if you are wanting to upgrade to 750 for crossfire/sli support!
im running an amd 6400+ at 3.5ghz and 2 2900s and 4gb of ram
Pros: Looks great, bought this case for my very first build and was amazed by the fan control dial on the front (as were my friends). i have made many mods to this case. I turned 3 of the lower 5.25" bays into a 120mm blue led intake fan using the kama-bay mod. the fan looks great with the metal mesh door, shows through perfectly with the door closed.
Cons: only con i can think of was that the intake fan on the side window didnt line up with my cpu on an asus m2r32-mvp... but hey. they cant make it perfect for every mobo since they are all different. i ended up cutting my own plexiglass and cutting a new fan hole for my cpu, i also laser etched the window with a design and painted with silver acrylic paint.
Overall Review: another con is the top fan wont fit if you have a large psu (i use a rosewill xtreme 750 watt) i ended up just using the mesh and a fan grill on top so as not to have a gaping hole. i recommend buying a good 120mm fan for the back exhaust and mounting an 80mm on the side window for intake. and moving the 2 that came with teh case to the front for lower hard drive intake. and make sure you link all of the fans into a chain and connect them to the cases output molex connector (it is labeled) and connect a dedicated power cable to the cases input cable for the fan control (also labeled). now you can turn your computer to cool and loud mode or quiet and dim mode for when you go to sleep or are watchign a movie =P. all in all i love this case and deffinately recommend it. (p.s. also not a bad idea to spray paint the entire aluminum metal interior black or something. looks ALOT better with cathode lighting =P)
Pros: i am running 2 of these in raid 0 and they are very stable and quiet. i am usually a WD guy, but i love these drives.
Pros: I looks really cool and it is even more compact than I thought
Cons: It came all busted up. One of the front mesh pieces was borken out and the whole case was warped but had been forced together with screws. It was obviuosly not carrier damage the factory must have messed it up. Very disapointing
Overall Review: I have two friends with Apevia cases and theirs are great I think I just got a bad apple
Pros: I bought this mobo before it was on newegg at motherboardpro, its an amazing board with tons of oc'ing features int he bios including cmos reloaded. this is the best deal you'll find anywhere for a 790fx chipset. This is my first DFI board and so far i am very impressed.
Cons: none, i love DFI!
Overall Review: My setup is, This motherboard, 6400+ BE, 4gigs 8500 corsair dominator RAM, 2 seagate 250gb in raid and, 2 hd 3870's.
Pros: dropped my cpu by 10-15 celcius. great buy and looks spiffy
Pros: very noticible temp drops after switching from stock heatsink/fan with the 6000+ processor. (currently using to cool a 6400 BE clocked at 3.6 ghz) looks cool int he dark and runs quiet! you wont be dissapointed.
Cons: its not watercooling =P
Overall Review: i love asus!
Pros: very reliable and great price for a 4gig. i have my entire linux os on this thing and then some.
Cons: it isnt a 32 gig
Overall Review: love the look and the cap mount on the chain!
Pros: great OC ability, i use this motherboard ona gaming computer (hd 2900 xt 1gb, 6000+ x2 proc, and 4 gigs (800 mhz) and this motherboard is rocksolid.) i love asus =P
Pros: i upgraded from a 4200+ x2 and the load times for everything have decreased substantially, amazing processor. and great price. i love AMD
Cons: none, its AMD...
