Newegg + Refurb = Awesome Deal

Pros: Great deal on a refurbished item. The Logitech 9000 is a top notch webcam. The room I'm using it in is really dark and the video looks great.
Cons: None, really. Well, it could be free and Newegg could deliver via transporter beam so I wouldn't have to wait : )
Overall Review: I'm hungry.
You Will Regret Buying This Junk

Pros: Before it self destructs, AND IT WILL, it works okay
Cons: This device WILL fail. Count on it. Search the internet. See for yourself. Slingbox Media culls their forums of any posts regarding the garbage that they sell. After 30 days they charge $30 to even talk to you for support. The one year warranty is a LIE. Bad capacitors, updates that brick the units and power supplies that fail constantly.
Overall Review: Slingbox Media deserves nothing less than class action lawsuits and bankruptcy.
Better than the "other" brand you're considering

Pros: Better interface, easier setup, built-in wireless, doesn't self destruct after a few months like the "other brand" box, app for mobile devices is half the price of the "other" mobile app. Results over 3G seem better as well. My Vulkano has been running 24/7 for over six months with no problems whatsoever.
Cons: Design prevents stacking other components on top.
Overall Review: If you're thinking of buying the "other brand" box, buy this instead.
Works!

Pros: Installed the TotalMedia3 software that was included and it works fine with XP. It picks up ALL of the broadcast stations in my area using the included antenna.
Cons: I haven't tried the other features of the software so I can't comment on those.
More junk from China

Pros: Neweggs return policy. Always call, email or chat with Newegg and they will issue you a prepaid UPS label and waive any restocking fees for DOA / defective items. I read reviews all the time with complaints about having to pay return shipping for such items and it doesn't have to be that way.
Cons: Two defective drives in a row. The first mangaed to last long enough to have XP installed and most of my data transferred before chkdsk began reporting massive errors, the click of death began and then finally it was no longer visible to the computer. The second never made it past the format stage of installing XP before being reported as unable to format due to errors and the click of death began.
Overall Review: Hitachi should be ashamed.
Does what a hub should do

Pros: Plug USB devices into it and they work. What more could you want from a hub?
Cons: Some might not like the stand, but I've found it to be stable.
