Nice fast drive
Pros: Great, fast drive, relatively low price (for a 480 GB SSD). Installed easily in my early 2009 17" Macbook Pro. Soooo much faster than the old 5400 RPM drive. Boots in 25 seconds instead of 95 seconds. SATA II controller limited, still 180MB/s writes and 252 MB/s reads (instantaneous readings, not maxs). Windows 7 VM run simultaneously boots in 45 seconds instead of 3 minutes.
Cons: Initially connects at 3GBps, (SATA II) but after initial reboot only connects at 1.5 MBps (SATA I). Read lots online, and apple store says it is a MBP firmware issue. Doesn't seem to be the drive's fault.
Comments: I got this card after RMA of a similar ASUS card that was out of stock. Nice features, love the dual DVI, but the fan went out after a couple months. I RMA'd again, got a new one, and a couple months later the fan went out on this one too! That's 2 bad fans in a row! No more ASUS video cards for me. Wouldn't recommend. Too much hassle. Newegg is really good about RMAs, thankfully.
Awesome! Well built and lasts!
Pros: I have had this keyboard for over a year now and it has been just awesome. Key feedback is just right. Also, I just spilled coffee in it, and upon disassembling it I found that the key tray was designed to catch spills and not let them get down to the circuit board. The keys removed easily and i'm back up and running! Overall, great product. Would definitely recommend.
iTrip is the coolest!
Comments: I very much like my iTrip. It plugs right into the top of my iPod and broadcasts on any frequency from 87.9 all the way up. It has pretty decent range, too. Also, it works even when the iPod is docked. I have my iPod docked and plugged into my receiver in the front room, and with the iTrip plugged in, it simultaneously broadcasts the signal so I can turn on the radio in the kitchen and hear it in there, too! Sound quality is ever-so-slightly degraded, not enough to notice on standard car stereo, but enough to notice vs being plugged directly into receiver via line level out on docking station in front room. Highly recommended!
Comments: I'm quite impressed with this little thing. It's tiny, but potent. I also have tried out the DiMAGE Xi, and this one is definitely better. Very cool features, like - option to add audio clip to pictures as you take them or later - take as much 320x240 video as your card will hold (256 MB card ~ 12 min) - docking station is an improvement from the Xi, where you had to take the battery out to charge it - so small it easily fits in your pocket - Li Ion battery lasts quite a while and charges quickly (~75 min) - intuitive controls overall, quality camera, nice, compact design - highly recommended!
