New technology and easy setup

Pros: Everything. So easy to set up. It works out of the box and never blinks!
Cons: None that I could find during my setup and testing.
Overall Review: If you are looking for an easy to setup and it works right out of the box this is the one to buy. I also have an Apple Airport Extreme router running as well as a Prisim television router/modem in the house. Once I found a clean line from the Prisim modem I started my testing. I have installed many, many routers and this has been the easiest installation, without any problems that I can recall. The one minor problem some may have is that because of the shape of the router you may have some difficulty, if you have large fingers, plugigng in the pl-259 connectors in the back. Once they're in you're good to go. Once I completed the basic internet setup on ethernet, which you will find to be very simple, I always, from experience, find the section in advance setup related to any firmware updates. In this case there was an update for the GUI or graphic user interface, which I completed. If there is a system update then you will do the check, download the update if there is one and then upload the update to the system and reboot the router. On the basic setup page you will also notice a box with the word automatic. This is the language selection box and a quick check will show you the many languages available. Wireless setup was very simple. The passwords for the system are provided for you and you may change them if you like. I did a comparison of my Airport Extreme and this Netgear router and the R6100 did a fine job. I live in cement block home which can kill a wireless signal because of the density. My computer workbench is in the garage at the front of the house and the signal was strong throughout the house and even to the pool in back would now include three block walls. That, I would think would be just fine in any home, including two stories or a basement. The 5Ghz signal remained strong, but as you would suspect the 2.4Ghz signal had declined quite a bit. I'm sure that any system that utilizes the ac mode signal will be just fine. The router provides a usb connection to allow you to connect an external hard drive for either system backup of for media. Ready share will allow print sharing with any USB printer and is AirPrint compatible for your iPad. The system provides a separate "guest" access to your network that is separate from your own part of the network. The router runs at 2.4Ghz/54Mbps or at 5 Ghz up to 867 Mbps with W/A/N/AC modes. AC mode being the newest mode and available in the newest systems and accessories and provides the best range and speed. You will love this router with support if offers for the latest HDTV with internet capability. I liked it because it will offer media downloads from storage system. For those of you that download large files and are on cable systems you might be interested in the "Traffic meter" available in the advance setup. You can put your safe allotment of data and the router will warn you when you are approaching your limit. I did go to the Netgear
Kingston SSD

Pros: Fast and no heat generation. Small with low power demand
Cons: Will not coexist with an OCZ SSD. Spent several days trying to add the Kingston SSD to my computer with an OCZ SSD already installed. Crash,Crash,Crash. I could get one going, but the minute I hooked up the Kingston at the same time....crash.
Overall Review: The OCZ went in without a hitch. Tech support responded from Kingston, but only suggestion was to update Bios. Which I did. Didn't help. Be careful if you are adding this SSD with some other storage equipment already installed.
Video upgrade!

Pros: Still thinking about that. It does work.
Cons: Purchased the upgrade video card recommended by the previous reviewer. I cannot figure out how he ever got the HD6450 into that little case. It's too high and the back prevents inserting the card at all. If you, the reviewer, are still watching the review I would sure like to have some feedback. Anyone else there tried this with success? Help Just opened the case to replace the dvd drive and the inside of this computer was full of black, greasy dirt. yuk! This had never been opened. Used spray cleaner and a rag to clean everything I could get out. The fan for the cpu was riveted in so couldn't take it apart to clean it. It's a wonder this thing didn't burn up!
Overall Review: This computer is a real boat anchor. Unless you really, really need a cheap computer look around. I bought this to replace a nice mini pc I use to watch video while on the elliptical, but without hdmi this won't cut it. I want to use the mini as a server for plex. Used the MSI HD6450 for HDMI and it works great!!
Sound failed

Pros: Mbd #JBC231C98-525-B / JBC231C98-525-W. Worked great for six months.
Cons: Sound died. Tried to do a bios upgrade and it's not available in 64 bit. Use the Taiwan link for any downloads. US link does not work. I will try to contact tech support for any suggestions.
Overall Review: Totally cool when it works!
Kingston BoBo

Pros: None---Cheap?
Cons: Can't get it open without bending the red cap. Kingston Techsupport is going to replace it with a different model. They were surprised at this poor design. They had not had the opportunity to work with this until I called.
Overall Review: Looking forward to a replacement from Kingston. Thank you!!
Don't buy it

Pros: New technology
Cons: Not as good as the FT-iZ. Shortly after I bought the Octane the price fell $100. Gee thanks Golfio. I already had the iZ and have compared the Octane and buying this driver was a mistake. Buy an iZ. Lower price and better club!
Overall Review: Before you buy any golf stuff call the merchant and ask for a better price. Their markup on new stuff is 100% when it first comes out.
Responded to my problem by email, but 800# does not work.
Packing and shipping was fine. Dealer replaced DOA dvd drive after I called. Their 800# does not work. Email was responded to. Motherboard is basic with limited slots. Manual for computer is available online. This is a real boat anchor. Win 10 pro 64 installed and licensed. At today's standards 250GB drive is small. This should work well as a backup computer. Yes, I would buy from them again.
Slow
Slow to get it out the door and the price dropped right after I bought the driver.
