Pretty quite and moves a good amount of air

Scythe Minebea NMB Silent IC Series 4710KL-04W-B19-VB2 Case Cooling Fan
Scythe Minebea NMB Silent IC Series 4710KL-04W-B19-VB2 Case Cooling Fan

Pros: I bought three of these for my LIAN LI PC-V2000Bplus II Case. I wanted to keep the sound down. I can barely hear the fans run at all.

Cons: I thought I had bought the fans with the Fluid Dynamic Bearings, I did not these only have dual bearings.

It does what they say it does.

Pros: I am not a fan (no pun here) of Heat Pipes. The reviews of this one kept taunting me to give it a try. I broke down and dropped the few bucks it cost and bought it. I did not use the thermal paste that was on the bottom of the unit; I removed that and put some Arctic Silver 5 on it instead. CPU runs cool and system is very stable with moderate over clocking. Unit is very quite in my case.

Cons: Not sure I would do any major OC with this unit, it does well with the moderate OC I am doing but I would not push the limits of it. Still worth the money!

Must do a burn in!

Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-12G
Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-12G

Pros: Best stuff out there! Nothing even comes close in my opinion. You have to follow the directions and do not put to much on the HS or Proc. Follow the burn in time (still doing mine) and you will be happy. The good stuff is worth the money.

Cons: Burn in time takes forever. You do not have to do it but then it will be weeks before the Artic Silver 5 works the way it should.

Two to a package and they help

VANTEC VDK-120 120MM Fan Vibration Dampener Kit
VANTEC VDK-120 120MM Fan Vibration Dampener Kit

Pros: Helps stop noise from your fan vibrating the case; you will still hear the blades cut the air. Two of these come to a package.

Cons: Silicone washers are not worth the trouble, they end up twisting and smooshing, not smashing evenly.

Really fun to play with.

ASUS PhysX Processing Unit 128MB GDDR3 PCI Graphics Card PHYSXP1/128M/GRAW/A
ASUS PhysX Processing Unit 128MB GDDR3 PCI Graphics Card PHYSXP1/128M/GRAW/A

Pros: This card is a blast! No really it is! It brought more dynamics to the games as I played them. I is really fun to watch thing blow up around me. The card has increased my PCMark 2006 score about 120 points. Not much but hey it did not hurt it.

Cons: Still to expensive. The effects are great but not worth the cost yet. It needs to be sub hundred dollar range to be worth the cost. Cooling fans and heat sink is too small. This thing gets really hot, almost as hot as my 8800's do. The heat stays in the case and warms up the rest of the cards. Good thing I have a really big case. Cooling fans and heak sink is to small. Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6600

Pros: Being this was a few dollars lees than the E6700 I went with this one. I am glad I did not spend the money on the Proc, it allowed me to spend it on other components. I am a Intel man! Always will be.

Cons: None to be found, it works and that is that.
