powers everything nice and easy
Pros: this 1kw psu easily powers my oc'ed e6600 and 2 evga 8800gtx's, 2 harddrives, 2 optical drives, waterpump. mobo used is a evga 680i. single 72amp 12volt rail is a plus
Cons: big, needed to drill holes in case because the holes that were there didn't line up
Overall Review: if you have the money and your running 8800gtx's in SLI this is the power supply for you
fast and stable
Pros: used with a evga 680i mobo. currently running the ram at 1066mhz @ 2.2v 5-5-5-15 stable. tried to tighten timings to 4-4-4-12 but was unstable. increased 3dmark06 scores up 200. used corsair xms2 ddr2-800 ram @ 1.9v 4-4-4-12 before
Cons: none
Overall Review: heatsink is great
runs all games at max settings :]
Pros: im running 2 of this cards in SLI and its just is unbelievable. I get over 100fps in CS:S and FEAR avg on max settings
Cons: big, requires 2 pci-e power connectors per card. not a problem for me but maybe for people with small cases or ppl with 500W PSU's
Overall Review: dx10 compatible. should run crysis nice and smooth once it comes out
good board
Pros: installing the nb fan is a must when overclocking. the board has a great layout and there was no hardware related problems
Cons: updated the bios to p21 to help with the sound crackling when running a xfi soundcard and 2 8800's in SLI. also p23 beta bios is out to fix the SATA/RAID problem
Overall Review: once all the bugs are worked out with BIOS Updates and drivers this board will be awsome
