AMD Drivers sometimes ok

Pros: Getting 50-100 fps with catalyst driver 12.7 on windows 8 in Guild Wars 2.
Cons: On XFX web site it says this card is 9½ inches long but it's not. From the face to the back end is 9 7/8. if you remove the metal cover itself it is 9 3/4 and the card from the face is about 9 3/4. Easy enough to remove the face to barely make it fit in my Lian Li aluminum ITX case. The latest driver as of today (catalyst 12.8) from AMD will not work with windows 8. have to use version 12.7.
Overall Review: Tried catalyst 12.8 in a windows 7 machine with an old i7 and worked great. Pretty good card. Only purchased because its shorter than others and that spec was wrong. Boo on XFX. Always love Newegg. Thought I was going to have to permanently modify this card to make it fit voiding the warranty but alas I did not. Mine is very very quiet. Rosewill RCX-Z90-CP processor fan is super loud tho.
T22 Memory Upgrade

Pros: Been a Newegg customer for almost 10 years I think. Fast shipping and I usually have good luck with this and a couple other top names in memory. I always use the Crucial memory scanning tool for compatibility info.
Cons: Crucials on-line memory scanner did not detect the slots or max memory correctly for some reason so I did not trust the results. PC133 Does not work in IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad T22. After trying to install I realized the chipset in the T22 will not slow down the PC 133 to PC 100. Not really the fault of Newegg or Crucial though.
Overall Review: Was hard to find thorough compatablilty charts for older thinkpads. For T22 the max memory is 512MB (256 x 2) and has to be PC 100. Ultimately this T22 is too old to mess with. If your trying to upgrade an old laptop just buy an ASUS Eee when it goes on sale and you're better off IMO.
Noctua 40mm 12V fans fix a noisy router

Pros: Excellent quality. Lots of in-box options
Cons: Pricey. Different suppression cables not labeled meaningfully.
Overall Review: Bought two of these to replace the loud Foxconn fans in my Ubiquity EdgeRouter using the slowest supression cables which i believe were the RC12. The RC10 were good but not quiet enough for sitting behind me all day while working. The included screws don't sit flush like the originals and are cut slightly rounded, so it would be nice if the screws were sharp cut to be flush. Using AndroSensor app to measure the sound from a Pixel 2XL sitting on top of the router with Foxconns was 44db. Noctua fans full speed was about 36db. The RC12s dropped it down to 28db where the room has to be pretty quiet to hear them inside my router.
Sexy

Pros: Good feel and performance. Battery life is pretty good. Mouse turns off when folded up so a pressed button during travel does not empty batteries. Tiny LED on top is green (does not annoyingly stay on) when powered on and turns red when batteries are almost dead.
Cons: My dongle when bad after almost 11 months and luckily the MS warranty covered it. Wish the dongle was a little smaller but at least it's not horribly big like some.
Overall Review: The plastic gliding pads seem to be attached very well and have not moved or come loose yet. Finish has tolerated plenty abuse and still looks great.
