Good specs

Pros: It's a thinkpad, design is solid Awesome screen Light
Cons: Battery life isn't great, but that's typical with Ryzen
Overall Review: Very happy with this. I've owned dell, hp, asus. Thinkpads seem to the most reliable
Massive issues

Pros: none
Cons: As others have mentioned, this has severe problems. It freezes randomly when reading from disk. I was convinced the issue was with my video or sound card but after taking them out, reinstalling EVERYTHING and having the same problem within windows and linux, the issue proved to be the motherboard. I even swapped my hard drive. It has been a massive waste of time trouble shooting this piece of garbage. If it would BSOD it would have saved time, but it just freezes, whatever is in the audio buffer repeats and you can hear it completely stop reading from disk. Any transferring files greatly increases the chance of it randomly dying. Sending it in will just result in getting a new defective one. This was a huge waste of money. The people that don't report this problem probably are still blaming other things too.
Not great

Pros: Looks nice, very new graphics card, latest gen i5, price
Cons: This is really hard to get into. I wanted to put an SSD in it and see if I can add some extra ram but getting it open without breaking things felt difficult. You'll have to cross your fingers if your hard drive, ram or battery goes bad. I'm sure it's possible but to get off but I'm not going to bother until I see some guides online. In taking off the screws they make them different sizes so if you don't keep track of things you'll have a real hard time putting them back on. The power source is a giant brick. Don't expect much room left on a surge protector if you use this laptop. Has wild tangent games preinstalled which is poopware + privacy intrusion. Battery lasts like 3 and half hours.
Overall Review: You should know this i5 is not a whole lot faster than old processors. I have a T420 laptop that gets just about the same performance and costs only $220 on the market today. The main difference is this uses about half the power. Windows 8 will update every time you restart if you let it and it'll take 2 or 4 hours each time for the next 8 or 10 reboots you use it. Turn it off if you actually want to get some work done without corrupting your machine with forced power-offs. Windows 8 is pretty terrible in general. I wish I could open the machine and swap it for another drive I have.
meh

Pros: Good powersupply
Cons: did not reply to mail in rebate.
Really terrible

Pros: none
Cons: CD Software stalled windows 7. Had to remove it in safe mode. Downloaded newest drivers but loads of problems, especially crashes in games with the gfx option on. Crashes loading youtube videos. Crashes while normal music plays. Load CLICKS on short audio segments. All this is resolved if I remove the stupid card. Really really terrible product. Drivers are provided by asus but actually made by some random company. Bad quality, not any better sound than my built in sound card.
meh

Pros: 6/gb buffer = 126mB/s vs 3/gb buffer= 106mB/s reports standard as sata II not sata III. was not really worth the extra money.
Cons: x
