Pros: Small form factor and has a PCI-e video card slot. I purchased a PCI-e video card to replace the onboard video and it works without any issues. It's actually not bad, can handle task without any issues. I added 2 more gig of ram for a total of 3gb. I'm planing to use this as a second HTPC but I haven't really tested it for that but I'm sure it should be able to handle it.
Cons: Looks like I got the same problems as all the other reviews. The unit came with only 1gb of ram (1 stick). Newegg took care of it when I contacted them. I wonder if all of the stock they have came with only 1gb anyway kudos for Newegg for taking care of their customers but, they should correct the specs or at least check the product to ensure that there won't be any other issues with future buyers.
Overall Review: Got this unit during the black Friday deals with 50% discount on extended warranty so I took the 2 year with this. Good buy overall!
Bad product, beware
Cons: inexpensive, small and broken.
Overall Review: When I got the unit, I automatically tried to make rice. I've had tons of rice cookers prior to this so got lots of experience. I'm Asian so rice is a staple in my house. After 5 minutes of cooking the rice. there was the smell of electrical burning in the air. I looked the the cooker and it was dead. I lost 4 cups of rice and had to throw is all away. When I was packing the box for return I then noticed that the box looked like it had water damage. The cardboard looked like it was wet once and it dried up. That maybe why I got the electrical burn. They should've not sold these units, it's a hazard. Dangerous to sell it as is. Buyer beware, there might be more damage ones in the batch they have. I even had to pay to return it.
Very Bad Overall
Pros: Gibabit ports, Xtreme N with USB SharePoint for printer.
Cons: Very weak signal!
Overall Review: I have an old Buffalo N router that needs replacing. I was very happy with the Buffalo router but it's 4 years old now and it needs rebooted at least once a week. I was thinking about getting another Buffalo router but when I saw this one I convinced myself D-Link is a good brand. I had them before and they were good to me, boy I was wrong. The unit has a very weak signal even with the the 5GHz, I get around 35% signal strength and the adapter is directly above where the unit is placed (basically 2nd floor). The Buffalo router I had at 2.4GHz I get about a70% signal strength on the same adapter. The farthest computer I have could barley get to 40%. The unit also keeps losing the internet connections to the modem, I've had to reboot it almost everyday. I usually have no issues with buying refurbished units but this one is either wasn't checked properly or there is something physically broken in the unit so buyer beware!
Good Product for the price
Pros: Small foot print, do not need a separate power adapter. Just use the USB cord to power the unit
Cons: The unit looses connections quite often but... read "other thoughts".
Overall Review: At first this unit would not stay connected as seen in most of the reviews here. I thought I bought a dud. I received an email from IOGear stating there is a new firmware, downloaded and updated it. Now, it works perfectly. Does not loose connections ever since I updated the firmware. All it needs is a firmware update so for those who has complaints....
Pros: 32gb class 10
Cons: Died in 5 months.
Overall Review: It does not work on my Nokia N8, it seems to keep on un mounting. One day the phone will see the card then the next day it doesn't see it. I have to power cycle the phone for it to work. Then, after 5 months it just stop responding, I can't even format it. Now, I have to send it back for an RMA. hopefully the replacement works a lot better. It also cost a lot more 5 months ago!
Big and Heavy
Pros: The watch is beautiful, it has a very bright luminous markers. Love the orange color. I own a older Seiko automatic drivers watch with a rubber band for over 12 years now and it still running. I wanted to get a new one that has a metal band and this one caught my eye.
Cons: Didn't realize that it was bigger than my old one and a bit heavier even though the band is smaller than my older one 20mm as suppose to 22mm. The bezel is a bit hard to turn, maybe it's my fat finger but you could only move it from the side, the top and bottom has part of it's body blocking it.
Overall Review: Overall, it's a beautiful watch that doesn't need batteries. I just hope it last as long as my old one which I would still use every now and then.
