Pros: Very easy to set up. 2.4 and 5GHz are seen as two separate SSID's. Even lets you set up separate guest SSID's for both bandwidths which do not require security passwords.
Cons: Non so far.
Overall Review: My N-Draft router was getting overloaded with 7+ devices and could not handle the amount of simultaneous connections. Upgraded to this Netgear and haven't had any disconnection problems since.
Pros: Works as expected. Cheap alternative to buying a pre-made external hard drive.
Cons: Can only screw in 2 out of four holes. (No pun intended.) But this is no biggie.
Overall Review: You have to use USB cord for power when connecting via eSATA. The USB cord has an additional USB male connector to the main cord, which is not necessary to use. The eSATA connection is not hot-swappable for my Abit IP35 Pro mobo on Windows 7.
Pros: Clear sound, fits comfortably around ear one adjusted right, vibrates, volume adjuster, can toggle music player on phone, LED display.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: This headset is simple to use, and was easy to pair with my T-Mobile Mytouch3G. The volume dial is a little stiff to move, but works. The phonebook option on the headset requires you to download software on you computer from Jabra (which isn't on their website anymore), then load the info to your headset via usb. It doesn't access the phone book on your phone. A great buy for the price.
Pros: Comes with a remote.
Cons: Software is poor and has an ugly UI. Drivers for 64-bit are difficult to find on the website. You have to go to the international version of website to get it. Some of the buttons on the remote are useless. Windows Media Center freezes some times when opening TV mode. The audio and video are off-sync at times. There is a terrible thumping noise occasionally or frequently.
Overall Review: I use this product to convert my VHS tapes to DVDs with Nero, and sometimes to watch TV on my desktop. This seemed to work OK with Win MCE 32-Bit. But when I switch to Win Ultimate 64-Bit, the thumping noise started. It comes and goes periodically and sometimes it won't stop. As for the 64-bit driver, I couldn't get it from the US website. I e-mailed customer KWORLD customer support and they responded promptly directing me to their Taiwan download page. Overall it does what it's supposed to.
Pros: Has a good collection of songs. Includes A LOT of songs. You can transfer almost all of the RB1 songs for 5 bucks.
Cons: Doesn't include drums or a guitar for this price. =T
Pros: Designed well for my 14.1" laptop. Decent amount of cushion support on the interior. Good amount of compartments. no snagging zippers. Comfortable shoulder strap.
Overall Review: It probably won't completely protect your laptop if dropped, but it provides enough support you would expect from a laptop bag.
Pros: Thick steel cable. Easy to use. Includes a strap to organize the cable.
Pros: Easy plug and play. Compact size. Transfers data to my Nokia N95. Compatible with Win XP/Vista/7 Beta
Cons: Will annoyingly blink it's blue light unless you prevent it from finding other bluetooth devices.
Overall Review: I love that it's compact, and doesn't require any software. I just leave it plugged in on my laptop all the time, and you can't even notice it's there. A cheaper solution than buying an aftermarket internal bluetooth module in some cases.
Pros: Not cheap like generic ones you can buy on other sites. Charges my Nokia 95 NAM.
Cons: The plug is a little big for my 97' Lexus ES 300 lighter. The metal connectors aren't that flexible on the plug, so it requires a little force just to get it in. Loses one egg for that.
Pros: Got it for less than 20 bucks after rebate. Holds A LOT of data compared to my old 2GB stick. Is smaller than my past flash drives.
Cons: The protective cap does not appear to snap on securely. Doesn't come with a key ring.
Overall Review: Get this while it's cheap!
Pros: Easy to use, smooth contour, nice keyboard layout.
Cons: From 5 feet away the keyboard did not respond properly if not pointed directly at the receiver. Not like you'd usually type facing away from the monitor anyways.
Overall Review: This keyboard is great for the price. I already have two of these and both have been working to meet my expectations. I can always depend on Logitech.
Pros: Quickplay buttons, which aren't seen in the photos are available on this laptop. They are nice white colored, touch-sensitive buttons located near the power button. Includes many ports for connectivity. Includes a wireless IR remote for media playback. Looks very sleek. Has an optional removable CD-Drive, which is also a con. Decent webcam, with software. Runs Windows Vista smoothly.
Cons: Power button is hard to press, along with the touchpad buttons. Because the CD-Drive is removable, the plastic casing will vibrate against the frame of the laptop, which can become irritating when a CD/DVD is running. This laptop will get really hot on the bottom! The battery life is poor, you get about 1.5 hours average, on power saving settings. No bluetooth. The laptop casing will attract a lot of dust and finger prints, but they do provide a microfiber cloth. Comes with software that you probably don't really need. Touchpad is kinda small, and has a mirror-like coating, which also attracts fingerprints. There is only vertical track scrolling for the touchpad. There is static interference with the speakers, unless you disable wifi-a band. This may be only for me, but when I plug in the hdmi output, the HP remote does not work in Windows Media Center.
Overall Review: This was an upgrade from a Dell Inspiron E1505. I miss the ease of pressing the touchpad buttons on my Dell. Overall I like the design of this laptop. I appreciate that there are two headphone outputs in the front so I can watch movies with a friend. I would rather have the charger input on the back than on the right side. I don't really think I can get used to the vibrating noise from the cd-drive, but if I hold it down or press it against something, it goes away kind of. The battery life is also very poor in my standards, so I might get an extended-life battery in the future, if there are any available. My suggestion, do some research before you buy this laptop. After I already bought this I saw a better model for cheaper than the one I bought.
Pros: Looks very sleek with a nice camera appeal to the back side. This phone will work with Micro SDHC. (I currently have a 8GB fully functioning) Also includes a front camera with lower quality resolution for image and video capture. Wi-Fi capability is simple to use to search for access points. Includes built-in GPS receiver, but slide has to be up for a better satellite signal. Was easy to update to newer software. (BTW download new Nokia PC Suite online) Has tilt recognition functions which will work with third party apps. (Kinda like how the screen on the iphone will rotate when tilted) Clear, bright screen with light sensor capabilities. (You can still see the screen in direct sunlight) Has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is REALLY nifty. (You can use your good quality headphones, and still use the additional remote cord to make calls with. You can also use the inlcuded TV out cable to stream media from your phone to to a tv/monitor!)
Cons: Each menu item runs like software that you have to exit out of every time. Volume settings aren't universal. (ie. some games/apps will automatically play at max volumes) Buttons have a cheap plastic feel/sound when pressed. (the paint on my center button is already half chipped off) GPS service is free to use with Nokia Maps or free apps, but quality voice navigation service will not be free. Opening/closing apps, especially from the multimedia menu is on the slow side. (for me at least) Setting images as backgrounds will not fill up the whole screen. (Unless a third party app is used to create custom theme files) Camera is a little slow at focusing and taking pictures, but the quality is still good.
Overall Review: Overall I bought this phone because it's a phone, camera, media player, and GPS navigator. Would have given it five eggs if it ran a little faster, and if quality voice navigation function was free. I say that because every service charges 100+ for voice nav. and some even require to use a separate Micro SD card with only 2GB of mem. The free apps like Nav4All and AmaZe work, but they are slow, inaccurate at times, require internet service, and have a poor UI. Sometimes when AmaZe recalculates a route it just searches forever, and I would have to reset the app. This phone will work with T-Mobile service as well as the internet package. So far it has restarted about 4 times randomly on me in a month. Great price for this phone, only at Newegg!
Pros: Nice design. Good sound quality. Adjustable tilt on left and right speakers. Great newegg price.
Cons: No adjustable volume remote extension. Have to adjust bass level on the subwoofer itself
Overall Review: Overall, good item for price.
Pros: Pop in the USB adapter, and your good to go. Comes with AA battery included. Almost as big as the V270 (my other choice). Nice options for the price.
Cons: This is not the best choice for gamers, but it'll suffice if your not hardcore about precision. You have to download the software from the internet, which gave me a few problems initially while setting it up, but it's ok now.
Overall Review: Overall, a good deal for the price; especially with $XX rebate. Using it temporarily until price drops for VX model (First choice). =)
Pros: Just plug it in, and your set to go. decent size and lightweight. Doesn't get hot. VERY AFFORDABLE.
Cons: Not 200Mbps as advertised. None of the pictures provided look like the actual product. No ethernet cable included.
Overall Review: Overall a good bang for your buck. Look at manufacturer page for actual specs and pics of this product before buying.
Pros: Works fine with miniSD cards.
Cons: The saftey cap in the front is a little hard to remove.
Overall Review: Works fine, windows found drivers fine.
Pros: It works...a lot of room for your phone. Cheaper than Sandisk.
Cons: Not a 60 GB card. =(
Overall Review: Sandisk is probably faster for transfering data, but this is cheaper in price.
Pros: Come with keyboard, mouse and speakers.
Cons: Very thin cable for mouse. Speakers are cheap quality.
Overall Review: Get what you paid for. I don't plan to use it for listening to music all day anyways.
Pros: Does the job, keeps the case cool.
Cons: Doesn't have a female end.
Overall Review: Bought a few of these. Good price if you need cooling. They only connect one way though, so make sure you have enough 4-pin connecters on your PSU for everything + fans.
Pros: Burns Cd's & Dvd's very nicely.
Overall Review: Bought 3 of these already. It's been very good to me, and the price is amazing.
Pros: If you need it for Floppy disks, this is the right device. Nice low price.
Cons: Makes noises at times when there's nothing in it...maybe it's just mine.
Overall Review: Bought 4 of these already. We barely use floppy's any more these days, but it's still nice to have if you do.
Pros: Excellent quality picture. Fast response time for gaming.
Cons: None Really...
Overall Review: I didn't really want the speakers on the bottom of the screen, but hey it was on sale. Native resolution is 1440x900, so if u were expecting more like me, don't get your hopes up.
Pros: Powers up the computer.
Cons: Doesn't include mounting screws.
Overall Review: This item gets the job done. I bought two of these for budget computers for regular usage. It probably wouldn't be recommended for gaming systems. Hasn't failed on me yet. Also, it only has about four 4-pin connectors, so plan wisely.
Pros: Unique automated sliding front panel. Integrated case and hdd temp. monitor w/blue indicator display. Light weight and easy to open. Good amount of room for expansion. Front fan intake holster.
Cons: Included fans at random w/case. Permenant floppy drive opening in front. Flimsy plastic in front. LCD display in front has few options. Power switch light is hard to see if on.
Overall Review: I bought two of these for budget computers. One of them came with fans and the other didn't. The auto dorr in front sounded like it was broken at first, but eventually worked fine. It's a great deal for the quality.
