Neat Gadget, but a little slow...

Nokia N95 Black Back US Version Unlocked Smartphone 2.6"
Nokia N95 Black Back US Version Unlocked Smartphone 2.6"

Pros: Looks very sleek with a nice camera appeal to the back side. This phone will work with Micro SDHC. (I currently have a 8GB fully functioning) Also includes a front camera with lower quality resolution for image and video capture. Wi-Fi capability is simple to use to search for access points. Includes built-in GPS receiver, but slide has to be up for a better satellite signal. Was easy to update to newer software. (BTW download new Nokia PC Suite online) Has tilt recognition functions which will work with third party apps. (Kinda like how the screen on the iphone will rotate when tilted) Clear, bright screen with light sensor capabilities. (You can still see the screen in direct sunlight) Has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is REALLY nifty. (You can use your good quality headphones, and still use the additional remote cord to make calls with. You can also use the inlcuded TV out cable to stream media from your phone to to a tv/monitor!)

Cons: Each menu item runs like software that you have to exit out of every time. Volume settings aren't universal. (ie. some games/apps will automatically play at max volumes) Buttons have a cheap plastic feel/sound when pressed. (the paint on my center button is already half chipped off) GPS service is free to use with Nokia Maps or free apps, but quality voice navigation service will not be free. Opening/closing apps, especially from the multimedia menu is on the slow side. (for me at least) Setting images as backgrounds will not fill up the whole screen. (Unless a third party app is used to create custom theme files) Camera is a little slow at focusing and taking pictures, but the quality is still good.

Overall Review: Overall I bought this phone because it's a phone, camera, media player, and GPS navigator. Would have given it five eggs if it ran a little faster, and if quality voice navigation function was free. I say that because every service charges 100+ for voice nav. and some even require to use a separate Micro SD card with only 2GB of mem. The free apps like Nav4All and AmaZe work, but they are slow, inaccurate at times, require internet service, and have a poor UI. Sometimes when AmaZe recalculates a route it just searches forever, and I would have to reset the app. This phone will work with T-Mobile service as well as the internet package. So far it has restarted about 4 times randomly on me in a month. Great price for this phone, only at Newegg!

KWORLD PlusTV Analog Lite PCI TV Tuner Capture Card w/ Remote PVR-TV 7134SE PCI Interface
KWORLD PlusTV Analog Lite PCI TV Tuner Capture Card w/ Remote PVR-TV 7134SE PCI Interface

Pros: Comes with a remote.

Cons: Software is poor and has an ugly UI. Drivers for 64-bit are difficult to find on the website. You have to go to the international version of website to get it. Some of the buttons on the remote are useless. Windows Media Center freezes some times when opening TV mode. The audio and video are off-sync at times. There is a terrible thumping noise occasionally or frequently.

Overall Review: I use this product to convert my VHS tapes to DVDs with Nero, and sometimes to watch TV on my desktop. This seemed to work OK with Win MCE 32-Bit. But when I switch to Win Ultimate 64-Bit, the thumping noise started. It comes and goes periodically and sometimes it won't stop. As for the 64-bit driver, I couldn't get it from the US website. I e-mailed customer KWORLD customer support and they responded promptly directing me to their Taiwan download page. Overall it does what it's supposed to.

Great Router

NETGEAR WNDR3700-100NAS V.5 Wireless Gigabit Open Source Router/ USB port Rangemax 2.4/5 GHz Simultaneous N600 Dual Band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab
NETGEAR WNDR3700-100NAS V.5 Wireless Gigabit Open Source Router/ USB port Rangemax 2.4/5 GHz Simultaneous N600 Dual Band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab

Pros: Very easy to set up. 2.4 and 5GHz are seen as two separate SSID's. Even lets you set up separate guest SSID's for both bandwidths which do not require security passwords.

Cons: Non so far.

Overall Review: My N-Draft router was getting overloaded with 7+ devices and could not handle the amount of simultaneous connections. Upgraded to this Netgear and haven't had any disconnection problems since.

Works Nicely

Rosewill RX25-AT-SC-BLK - External Hard Drive Enclosure - Aluminum & Plastic, 2.5", Black, SATA USB 2.0 & eSATA
Rosewill RX25-AT-SC-BLK - External Hard Drive Enclosure - Aluminum & Plastic, 2.5", Black, SATA USB 2.0 & eSATA

Pros: Works as expected. Cheap alternative to buying a pre-made external hard drive.

Cons: Can only screw in 2 out of four holes. (No pun intended.) But this is no biggie.

Overall Review: You have to use USB cord for power when connecting via eSATA. The USB cord has an additional USB male connector to the main cord, which is not necessary to use. The eSATA connection is not hot-swappable for my Abit IP35 Pro mobo on Windows 7.

Awesome

Jabra Over-The-ear Bluetooth Headset Black Bulk (BT8010)
Jabra Over-The-ear Bluetooth Headset Black Bulk (BT8010)

Pros: Clear sound, fits comfortably around ear one adjusted right, vibrates, volume adjuster, can toggle music player on phone, LED display.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: This headset is simple to use, and was easy to pair with my T-Mobile Mytouch3G. The volume dial is a little stiff to move, but works. The phonebook option on the headset requires you to download software on you computer from Jabra (which isn't on their website anymore), then load the info to your headset via usb. It doesn't access the phone book on your phone. A great buy for the price.
