Great monitor at a great price
Pros: This monitor rocks. The colors are beautifully rich and vibrant. This looks much better than the Acers available here. The response time is fantastic. Great for movies and top of the line games. No dead pixels! The blacks are dark and flat exactly how I like them. The auto adjust feature is better than most. It's wall mount capable too. Don't worry just buy it... You will not be disappointed.
Cons: There are what appears to be two ports for speakers on the underbelly of the screen caseing. They are a waste of space which bothers me but you can't see them. This wont bother many people but it did me.
Overall Review: Great screen with rich colors. The black looks great! I was worried about switching from CRT to LCD because black is usually washed out but this is nice. I Love Newegg
Lasted 5 years nearly to the day
Pros: Solid over clocking board. Was able to hit 4.0Ghz on my i7 920 and kept stable for five solid years. I've been extremely pleased with its performance.
Cons: It did eventually die, it started with the blue screens that progressively got worse. I RMAed the board and unfortunately had an amazing week and only a week.
Overall Review: EVGA is great and I can't say enough good things about their customer service. All the guys I've talked to have been amazing. If I didn't have such a great job now I would want to work for these guys. I'll keep buying their stuff and recommending to friends.
Fully Loaded
Pros: Simply put, loaded with features. Nearly everything that you would come to expect from an EVGA product. The bios setup and the E-LEET program make overclocking on this thing a dream. I've not had a single issue.
Cons: The blackness of the board nearly sucked out my soul.
Overall Review: No PS/2 mouse plug... not really an issue cause I have a USB mouse but I thought you should know that. Also, for $300, I would have liked to have seen Bluetooth on this mobo but you don't see that too often anyway. There are a ton of USB ports and Sata ports which sort of make up for the bluetooth.
Thermal Goo
Pros: Cools down my CPU faster than a block of ice.
Cons: it doesn't however make my air cooling, cool like water does... but thats not really a con, its air, what do you expect.
Overall Review: Comes in a nifty resealable tube.
Great PSU
Pros: Looks great, the wires are sturdy and well covered. Great color scheme! They even threw in a bag... which I'm really not sure why but it works to hold on my computer junk. Also included is a bunch of zip-ties, mounting screws and even a case plaque!
Cons: The opening for the wires doesn't have a grommet on it so if I were to jump rope with the wires, it may actually cut through them. So that kind of stinks... Oh and its not modular but you probably already knew that.
Overall Review: The wires are a little stiff so keep that in mind.
Fantastic RAM
Pros: Runs a spec speed and even lower. I run 1600 at 7-7-7-20 - 1.55v, its perfectly stable. The heat spreaders are very very nice, sort of reminds me of the the bat-mobile. Be careful when pushing them into their slots, they're pretty sharp.
Cons: I can't get them to 1690 without bumping up the timings to 10-9-9-24 but really, thats running them at 845MHz so really thats not too much of a con cause they still run.
