Solid preformer
Pros: Has TONS of power to OC The BIOS is so easy to use, even a caveman can do it (lol) Massive amounts of features
Cons: This is not a huge issue, but hate that I am forced into a color combination - would like to see add on applets for the casings to make it match my preferred color scheme more. WiFi adapter in rear has plugs that are a bit small.
Overall Review: This was bought to upgrade my old P8P67 Rev 3.1 build (and i5 2500k). The whole process was simple and easy, the board has a ton of power to overclock my Skylake i7 6700k to 4.5 on the second boot. I really love the BIOS interface, and the BIOS update, reset and boot options that are actually outside the actual case. It makes updating and rolling back (if needed to) really easy, and takes a lot of the worry out of the process.
Cool looking cooler
Pros: -keeps my i9 cool when OC'ed -runs quiet -Colorization is fantastic
Cons: -Manual -- It SUCKS. You would think that they would even have a section on how to properly add it to a MC500 M case's RGB controller. -Packaging - Mine came with a slightly bent screw bracket on the right side/center location, and a few slightly bent fins. Neither of which can be seen when installed, and they don't impact performance - but this should be perfect out of the box.
Overall Review: It does exactly what it should - keeps the CPU cool... and quietly at that. The colors and effects work great when you finally figure out how to tie it into an existing RGB controller (I have a MC500m case with the RGB partition plate). Other than having better instructions (this was part of my first build in 4 years, and my first RGB build) I would recommend this to someone.
Big, bad, FAST
Pros: -Runs EVERYTHING I want at all highest settings in 4x without a sweat. -Runs quiet even under high load
Cons: -Price (but thats a given...)
Overall Review: I was hesitant to pick this card up after reading some of the reviews here, but I can say that I have been benchmarking and running mine under heavy loads for 4 days straight and have had no issues. Other than the massive price tag, this card is exactly what I was looking for in my new build.
Nice upgrade from my 932 HAF
Pros: -Cavernous interior -Fully modular -Space for expansion -That massive glass side
Cons: -Poor instructions - The minuscule book gave almost no help with where things go. -The bags were mislabeled - callouts were wrong either in the book or on the bags so it took time to triple check that the right screws were in the right place. -Cable Management - the backplate under the motherboard try will never fit back on with the amount of cables used in setting up RGB, the drives, power, and everything else.
Overall Review: While I dont build as often as others, this was a great case to use for my 4th build (the other 3 having been in my 932HAF case for the last 8 years.). I would have liked a larger, more clear instruction book, but the information was easily found online. The RGB partition plate is a cool feature but on the first few boots - mine was very hot to the touch along the edge - looks like some more insulation could be used to keep the LED heat off the metal frame. After installing the Aura software that came with my MoBo, it seemed to be cooler. I would like to have seen at least a cover or something to hide the lower hard drives and PSU wires - as the massive glass side is a fantastic way to see all your components. The actual case itself feels sturdy and I love the ability to basically take it all out and only have what you need and want in there. Its also nice to be able to take off all the extra plastic cladding as you build to prevent damage. That being said, and I am by far no expert - I would recommend this case to others.
Fantastic Cast
Pros: Great size, lots of options for HD and DVD drive placement, great cable management, AWESOME AIR FLOW!!
Cons: I was concerned about dust build-up inside, but have yet to have issues. What does slightly bother me (but not much to take off points) is the amount of dust that builds up on the front, which i have to clean off weekly.
Overall Review: Never built a computer before, and chose this case after my 5 year old Dell 720 H2C just couldn't do the job (or keep its cool) anymore. This case has tons of room for everything i wanted, plus it barely gets warm inside. *Edit 11/2018 - I still have this case, and have rebuilt the inside 2 or 3 times.. it still is a champ and I still love it- sadly the USB slots and other parts on it are wearing out so my next build is in a new case and im actually sad about it! **
Fantastic Processor
Pros: Runs fast Easy to OC Runs Efficiently Can use my Aftermarket cooler without any issues
Cons: The greed!
Overall Review: I replaced my old i5 2500k with this for my new build and with my ROG Max 8 MoBo I was able to lightly OC it to 4.5 on the second boot. My main gripes come with how while the item was in my cart, it "sold out" and I was then charged the higher price for my purchase. Also the "free" games aren't free. And I cant even use the content provided in an existing account... Id rather a lower price and no add-on "gifts".
