I like it
Pros: Very good; probably the best value in an LED 1980x1200 screen. Built-in rotating stand (easy to put into portrait mode) makes it an even better value.
Cons: None as of yet.
Overall Review: I would *never* buy an HP laptop (spent a while as a laptop tech and learned that lesson), but they make good printers so decided to take a risk on this monitor that had yet to post any reviews. I have been looking for a 16:10 monitor to run portrait mode for web surfing/doc handling. I also wanted an LED to save power. This one is bright, clear, and I have no complaints.
Broken at launch-still broken
Pros: Good multiplayer, when it works.
Cons: everything else
Works well but is very loud for its size...
Pros: Works as a fan go figure.
Cons: Loudest fan in my system.
Overall Review: What else can one say?
NICE! XMP settings work perfectly!
Pros: Hilarious over the top RGB/HS design Actually works at advertised speed with Ryzen 5 2600
Cons: Makes soggy french toast.
Overall Review: Best Ram I own especially for the price. I have five rigs with a total of 96gb ram of different brands. Other than the 32gb of G.Skill Trident-ZX (AMD) in my 1950x rig, this is the easiest install to get working at advertised speeds.
Giving me some resistance getting up to speed.
Pros: Pretty looking, supposedly designed for ryzen.
Cons: XMP does not work out of the box on my ASRock B450m/AC with Ryzen 5 2600 CPU.
Overall Review: I will update this if I can get to 3200 one way or the other. I have 3400 speed ram (on the MB approved list for 3200) in my other (1800x/X370 Taichi) rig that refuses to go past 3066mhz, so I am familiar with memory speed issues with Ryzen. The B450m/AC is brand new from ASRock and they still haven't updated the 1.0 launch BIOS. So, maybe that will improve things with updates. EDIT: I tried contacting Geil for help with this multiple times, and so far zero response. Adjusted egg rating to reflect this lack of support. EDIT2: Now it wont run past 2800mhz... Here comes my RMA. Going to try something else.
Originally had to RMA the first one...
Pros: Excellent function, easy to install.
Cons: Had to RMA the first one
Overall Review: Deleted my original review so I could give it five eggs. Despite having to RMA the first one, this is a great product. It also came with a free web cam which works great!
