Most Favorable Review

I like it

HP Compaq SmartBuy LA2405x Brushed Aluminum and Black 24" 5ms height, pivot & swivel adjustable Widescreen LED Monitor 250 cd/m2 DC 3,000,000:1 (1000:1)
HP Compaq SmartBuy LA2405x Brushed Aluminum and Black 24" 5ms height, pivot & swivel adjustable Widescreen LED Monitor 250 cd/m2 DC 3,000,000:1 (1000:1)

Pros: Very good; probably the best value in an LED 1980x1200 screen. Built-in rotating stand (easy to put into portrait mode) makes it an even better value.

Cons: None as of yet.

Overall Review: I would *never* buy an HP laptop (spent a while as a laptop tech and learned that lesson), but they make good printers so decided to take a risk on this monitor that had yet to post any reviews. I have been looking for a 16:10 monitor to run portrait mode for web surfing/doc handling. I also wanted an LED to save power. This one is bright, clear, and I have no complaints.

Pros: Good multiplayer, when it works.

Cons: everything else

Great screen great image great speed and fairly lightweight...

Overall Review: Ive got this mounted on a long monitor arm on a small "hospital" style cart that ive customized into a PC table for my couch. Anyway its nice and light-ish and doesnt put too much pressure on the arm or the table frame. Its super fast and looks beautiful at 4k. I had to do this after upgrading to a 4090 and accidentally putting a thumb through my old 4k 60hz screen.

Extreme performance and runs cool AF. No need for the comically huge versions.

PNY GeForce RTX 4090 24GB XLR8 Gaming VERTO EPIC-X RGB Overclocked Triple Fan DLSS 3 VCG409024TFXXPB1-O

Pros: Im using this mostly for blender renders and some gaming. I did have an issue with the display port on one of my screens but it turned out to be the screen input itself, not the GPU (works fine with a different screen). Anyway insanely fast and runs VERY cool except that might be because .... (see cons)

Cons: The only con is I am bottlenecked by my 3950x so I can't get all the possible performance from the 4090. Currently in the process of building a 7950x rig so I can eliminate the bottleneck.

Overall Review: Don't buy a huge ridiculous version of this card. Completely unnecessary. This "relatively" compact version runs cool and stable. Very happy to have found one in stock and -$30 from MSRP!

Works well but is very loud for its size...

SUNSKY 60mm 3-pin Cooling Fan (6015 3-pin)
SUNSKY 60mm 3-pin Cooling Fan (6015 3-pin)

Pros: Works as a fan go figure.

Cons: Loudest fan in my system.

Overall Review: What else can one say?

OLOy WarHawk RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin Intel/AMD Ready DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model MD4U083216BEDA

Pros: Hilarious over the top RGB/HS design Actually works at advertised speed with Ryzen 5 2600

Cons: Makes soggy french toast.

Overall Review: Best Ram I own especially for the price. I have five rigs with a total of 96gb ram of different brands. Other than the 32gb of G.Skill Trident-ZX (AMD) in my 1950x rig, this is the easiest install to get working at advertised speeds.
