Not ball bearing

Antec 761345-75120-9 3-Speed Case Cooling Fan
Antec 761345-75120-9 3-Speed Case Cooling Fan

Pros: reasonably quiet, good airflow

Cons: Newegg description is wrong

Overall Review: This is the fan that came installed in the Antec TX640B case that I bought in February of 2007. I am just now replacing it and with the same fan. I shut my computer down at bedtime, so it isn't on 24/7 but that doesn't seem like too bad of a lifespan for a fan with a sleeve bushing. Just be advised that this is NOT a ball bearing fan. Newegg has the description wrong. If you want one with ball bearings, this is the one: "TriCool 120mm DBB 0761345-75121-6".

working ok

PNY GeForce 6200 256MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card VCG62256APB
PNY GeForce 6200 256MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card VCG62256APB

Pros: Working as expected. Good upgrade to onboard graphics on an older HP.

Cons: Item is not as shown in pics and on PNY's website. I received the low profile card with the brown board shown on some other websites for less $$$.

nice little camera

Canon PowerShot A640 Black 10.0 MP 4X Optical Zoom Digital Camera
Canon PowerShot A640 Black 10.0 MP 4X Optical Zoom Digital Camera

Pros: This is a nice little backup for my D70. The flip out lcd adds to it's versatility.

Cons: 10 mega pixels is overkill for a camera with this small of a sensor. It just makes for an image with more "noise". Good marketing though for the un informed.

Overall Review: I hope that the camera makers will get away from this megapixel race and concentrate on improving the cameras in more important areas.

nice drive!

WD Series II 120GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive WDXU1200BBRNN
WD Series II 120GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive WDXU1200BBRNN

Comments: I've always used WD drives and had good luck with them, so I decided to give this one a try for storing photos from my digicam. I went to the WD website and downloaded drivers for my Win98se os. Installation was quick and easy. The drive was immediately recognized. It's a very quiet drive, even while being accessed. Speed is about what I had expected since my computer is not USB 2 capable. I may install a USB 2 PCI card at some point in time, but for now the speed seems sufficient. For about $1.29 per gigabyte, after rebate, this drive is great! Newegg's service is, as usual, outstanding.

Comments: Upgrade from a 333mhz-P2. Wow! Fast and stable. Newegg's service was also outstanding. I mailed a personal check and this order arrived at my house (Southern Arkansas), 8 days later.
