Salvage Hard drives. Works great
Pros: East set up, inexpensive, Data saver
Cons: Cable to short
Overall Review: I had two perfectly good hard drives from dead laptops. Granted they were only 500gb. But, why waste them? Now, they are portable HD. It's easy to install and you get USB 3.0 speeds. The case gives decent protection. Tip- Use a little elec tape around corners on inside of case before you install. It's just a little more shock absorbers. I love these things. Saved me money and data. Time will tell how long they last. But, seems to be built w quality. Only issue is length of cable. Way to.short. I can not set the hd's on top of case. They won't reach. So, they just hang. Hence four stars.
Its a case
Pros: hides cable well. easy to work with. pretty fans
Cons: No air intake on front except for slots on side. had to get out my dremel and make some holes.

Pros: None
Cons: It Will did not fit in nearly every HDMI port I tried. Arc does not work. Video and sound will cut out on the only TV I found it would fit in. Not worth the hassle of sending it back. Cheap for a reason.

Great cable
Pros: cable and adapter is very thick. Well protected for less USB3 interference.
Cons: It could be cheaper. But, you get what you pay for.
Overall Review: I think this may be a durable cable. It's well-protected. The length is great also. You can keep your drive away from you router or nas or shield.

Pros: Like I said. It works at USB 3 speed.
Cons: This thing is a pain to open. Its a pain to remove HD once inserted. Everything is tight. Not exactly for a quick check-up or switch-outs. As another said. I too had to use a drop of mineral oil to make it easier to open and close. Yes, it can scratch easily. I am not sure yet of USB 3 interference from cord. Not as thick as some I have bought. But thicker than the el cheapos. Cord Could be longer. But, ok. PS. I will buy more if on sale.
Overall Review: Yes, if on sale. Get a couple.

There tricky
After discovering the hdmi switch they sent was a complete dud. I contacted them. Thier first response was no problem. We will send you another no charge. Two days later. I got another e mail saying were sorry you have to send it back. I get the feeling they wanted me leave a good review before dropping the bad news. So! Incompetent? or dishonest? You decide. Either way. It was like handing over a twenty dollar bill and getting nothing. I spent alot of time trying to get that switch to work. It was simply doa. Add that to the frustration and disappointment of six e mails to them. Im not wasting any more time or money. Do yourself a favor and make sure you check who the seller is on your next purchase. If it is them. I would look elsewhere.
