Pros: So much faster than a SATA SSD
Overall Review: Please remember that installing this into your system will not be a significant speed upgrade unless your motherboard can handle it. If your motherboard's M.2 port only has x2 PCIe lanes then it will only be able to utilize 1/3 the speed that the drive supports. In this case you'd need a PCIe x4 adapter and an open PCIe 3.0 port. If you're unsure if your motherboard has these, ask someone who would know. You're paying for speed, you should make sure you can utilize it.
Pros: Quiet, powerful and relatively cheap.
Cons: It was a tight fit to screw in, and there's slight case warping because of it.
My card's 1st DisplayPort port does not output a signal.
Fans don't turn on until card reaches 50°C, so it will repeatedly rev up then stop every 20 seconds or so. A fan speed controller such as MSI Afterburner is recommended.
Overall Review: What I thought was coil while was actually my HDD. Glad to say after a year of use it's still running quiet.
Cons: Doesn't work, get "No Signal" when using
Overall Review: Took 6 weeks to arrive (May 8 - June 19)
Pros: - It works
- The ends come with protective rubber covers
Cons: - Nothing
Overall Review: Personally not a fan of paying extra for gold plating and this was the cheapest 6ft option at the time, so it was the obvious choice.
Pros: Sturdy, lots of room, quiet-ish fans
Cons: Heavy, but that's expected from its size
Overall Review: I've owned this for 3 years now.
The THOR logo on the front doesn't light up and one of the rubber things for the back circles was missing. I personally didn't see those as reasons to RMA it though.
Make sure to clean dust from the filters every month, especially the underside one. It builds up down there pretty bad.
Pros: - The colour quality is impeccable. Other monitors I've used have pale colours, while this monitor displays them vividly. Other monitors also have a bad glare or colour distortion when you view them from an angle, whereas this one does not.
- The menu is the easiest, most intuitive menu I've ever used and has a lot of great options for customizing the display, many of which I've never even used. The buttons are easy and responsive to press too.
- It can move in pretty much any direction, making plugging cables in or adjusting its levelness a breeze. It also takes a bit of force to move it, so you won't accidentally rotate it 2 degrees when you turn it on.
- Others have said it, I'll say it too. The extra 1" of vertical viewing space is great to have. I can play games in 1920x1080 windowed mode and still see my browser tabs and task bar.
Cons: Not sure if this is a problem with the monitor or my computer's power settings, but if I plug my phone into the monitor to charge and then turn the monitor off, my phone does not charge (yes, with the upstream USB cable plugged in). Not that big a problem, I just plug my phone into my tower instead.
Overall Review: I've had this monitor for 2 years now and it's just as good as the day I got it. No dead pixels after hundreds of hours of use, even after being transported around a dozen times. I highly recommend keeping the original box and styrofoam.
This monitor has a refresh rate of 59Hz.
Pros: Overall design is sturdy.
Velvet ear pads are very soft and comfortable, allowing ears to stay dry after extended use.
Both ear pieces can be adjusted up to 18 notches (57mm) from the headband.
Mic arm is sturdy, easy to adjust yet stays firmly in place where you set it, and has a wide, 135 degree rotation.
Volume wheel is easy to reach and rotate.
Cord is very long. Almost too long. What am I going to do with all this cord?!
Speaker quality is perfect, having just the right amount of bass and treble to make every song, conversation and movie pleasurable.
Mic quality is just as amazing as the speaker quality, being very crisp and clear while capturing very little "fuzz" noise.
Cons: A little tight during the first weak of wear, but better tight than loose.
Price. This headset cost me $266 after shipping and taxes, but from what I've gathered after a month of use, it was well worth it.
Both aren't things to lose an egg over though.
Overall Review: I bought this headset because I wanted a durable headset with a high quality mic and speakers that would allow me to listen to music and other people at the same time without having to take it off, and it allows me to do just that.
The open ears make it very easy to pick up sound from other sources. How easy? With music playing at 25% volume I am able to barely hear my friends from 30 feet away, and it completely blocks everything else out at around 80%. If you don't want to hear outside sources that clearly, I'd suggest putting in the extra $40 for the G4ME ZERO.
If you wear glasses, your head will start to hurt within 2 hours of first use. I've used this headset daily, and after a month it's now gotten loose enough that I'm able to wear it for up to 6 hours at a time without head pain.
While talking to others or listening to a recording of yourself, you may hear that the mic picks up very faint "fuzz" noise. This isn't a problem with the mic, just that you have your microphone level up too high. To set it lower in Windows, open the Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, click Sound, click the Recording tab at the top, select the microphone for your headset and click Properties, click the Levels tab at the top and lower the slider. I have mine set at 24 with a mic boost of 0, and my friends on Skype say they don't hear any fuzz anymore but I'm just as loud and clear (my Skype volume is at 65%).
Overall, I am a very satisfied customer and owner of this headset.
Pros: Speed, price.
Overall Review: My ASUS Z97-A marks these sticks as being 1333 MHz instead of 1600, so I had to go into my BIOS and set the RAM frequency from Auto to 1600.
Pros: It's much faster than an HDD, and at a more than fair price for its capacity.
Cons: No spec documentation included with the drive, nor printed on the box for quick reference.
Overall Review: This item does not come with a SSD mounting tray or cables for desktop cases, so think ahead before purchasing it.
