Works Great in Mac Pro!
Pros: Plug and play with any 2.5" drive! Plug and play with Mac Pro!
Cons: NONE!
Overall Review: Purchased this to install an SSD in my 1st gen. Mac Pro and it is plug and Play with the "sleds!" I couldn't believe it! It works flawlessly! Will be buying more when I get more SSD's!
Great Bang for Buck!
Pros: -6 HDMI inputs -For me, Lack of connections (component, composite, etc.) -optical input -Airplay -MCAAC setup -beautiful design -durable
Cons: -5.1 (all I need, but limits other people) -Front has a weird pop-out door to access front ports -For some, Lack of connections
Overall Review: Got this on an open box deal through newegg for just over two hundered dollars. First of all this is a great receiver for a smaller room or a beginning home theater. It has plenty of connections and features. I purchased this for a secondary room, so I could have airplay. I would NOT recommend this for a main reciever for someone who wants a powerful reciever...they should go with at least the 1122k or an elite model. Overall I love it though!
Simply Amazing!
Pros: -Amazing Sound -Small Package -Beautiful Design
Cons: -"Energy" emblem just fell off my subwoofer for whatever reason. -The speakers are finger-print magnets!
Overall Review: I didn't' get these from new egg unfortunately, but I got them for $140!!!! I upgraded from a Panasonic HTIB setup and WOW what an upgrade! They have been flawless and have improved over time as I've broken them in. I just purchased some Energy Floor-standing Speakers so i can get a 7.1 system going. Anyone looking for a 5.1 system that will knock your socks off while saving space...these are the ones for you!
Best 27" Monitor for the buck!
Pros: -Full 1080p w/ 1ms response time! -HDMi, DVI, VGA and audio ports! -4 USB ports -Displays colors and details as good as my Apple's LED screen. -27" real estate! Can have 2 full-screen windows open at once. -Attractive display
Cons: -Glossy bezel can scratch easily (just small light scratches like you'd see on the back of an iPod) -200x100 VESA mounting option....not a major con, but I just had to buy an adapter to mount it to my 100x100 wall mount
Overall Review: I wanted a large monitor for my 11" macbook air and I had a really hard time justifying $1000 for Apple's 27" monitor, though I really did want it. So I searched for other 27" monitors WITH USB ports built-in and I came across the VX2739WM by Viewsonic. It has everything I wanted plus HDMI! The 4 USB ports are what sold me since my macbook air only has 2 USB ports, this would put me up to 5 USB ports (since one of my usb's has to be used by the monitor). Also I was a little concerned of the picture quality because people were having issues with that. I guess people were connecting via HDMI, but I connected via DVI and the picture is amazing! I don't game on the PC at all, so I cannot comment on that, but the overall colors and details on this monitor are amazing! They look just as good as Apple's displays. Also there is no pixelation at all with the large screen. If your deciding on a monitor with tons of ports, large screen size and great picture this is the one! Glad I boug
